Good point - but you mean too supernatural (and fictional)- classic pirates are very fictional too. But perhaps i would like to see more realistic version of the classic pirates- no skullpatterned sails- and non-anachronistic soldiers etc. From potc sets we could get a british flag and sails and many interesting parts that we would probably never get from the "classic" pirates line... Upcoming 10210 ship looks very nice- with no any patterns in sails- of course spanish armada's ship's should have crosses and lions on sails but in 18th century it was not typical still every lego ships tend to have them...

:pir-skull: Lego pirates should continue- or at least if they won't then thay should do a potc line instead- at least some sets with more piratey parts are needed...

Looks so funny- maybe he is marooned.... not very many times remembered fact: "When pirate is marooned he is given knitting sticks and lots of yarn- as manly man they of course aren't using them- but after three weeks with absolutely nothing to do -knitting starts to look really interesting..."

Well that's true but problem is that there is no perfect part for smoke effect- at least i haven't seen it so it is about personal opinion- and my opinion is that my effect looks good enough- but of course i agree wih that fact that critic can be and should be constructive- anyway thanks for comments everyone

Thanks for comments- but it seems that you really don't understand my humour maybe its bad but still... i said that i used too much smileys and being kind of selfironic and added too much again- ummm, anyway i think you understood that "grey piece" is meant to be smoke - i like it -i have seen much worse effects but when i do one which is not perfect -everyone complains about it

Nice pirateisland- i love the tower and guy in empty tree- and marshmallow and of course pirates need a horse- you who think they don't -never seen awesome movies like "Against all flags or Cutthroat island" ? Anyway good moc- but puking effect is a little bit strange...

Oh do that really matter so much- maybe they kill :pir-skull: all those who can see them and then go hiding somewhere (that bush?) and when spaniards go to check out what happened on the gates they jump out and surprise them (you know like Han Solo did in the Star Wars Return of the jedi ) - ummm anyway i dunno i didn't thought that very much i justed wanted to build a buccaneermoc so sorry if my battleplan is not perfect I just overused a smileys a little bit Sorry but i like the way it is and i'm not going to change it- also this moc is gone now for the other port i haven't enough bricks to let these mocs to "live" - i have to take them apart for the next dio

I don't know about the name but ship is pretty cool- still deck looks awfully empty especially when it is snot- are they going to play ballgame or what real ships had their decks filled with goods and boats and crew

Thanks Slyowl used that crab but he used black hands- i though that red are better- but credit goes to him Well only two guards and one little gate to the city- (this is not supposed to be main entrance ) but a kind of "backdoor"- so maybe they kill the guards and then wait spanish reinforcements- and ambush them- buccaneers used many bold tactics Flag should be correct it is a bit different than the one used in the ships of the Spain during that time. And sand green is supposed to be moss of course

95c I finally figured out how i can put the pics from mocpages here- thanks to the Bonaparte i think well here is my newest big piratemoc it is spanish colony and buccaneers are attacking into it -with rowing boats - well there is many of them...

YEAH WESTERN BACK!!! Along with pirates it was one of my favorite themes when i was a kid but then it ended before i got any cowboys i have some indians though and i have been waiting for it's return- well at least one wild west set will appear next year in Toy story theme (btw strange choice by lego to do toy story sets) it have scrappy toystory figs but sheriff's office, jail and gold mine- still it would be nice to see new wild west sets - with new colors like dark tan and new parts like a mule (should be in Potc sets also )so lego do the potc theme- continue sw-licence more indy-sets and bring THE WESTERN BACK!!!

I had some problems with adding the pics- more can be found from my mocpage- this represents the rumoured real happening- William Kidd burying his loot to the Caribbean island so there is a story- a real rumour just made it in legoform I am adding better stuff later but thanks for watching this Looks that i succeeded finally - me and my coding skills

WONDERFUL beauty for a ship- excellent work- only thing could be better is not to use non-official legoparts but still it is not your fault that lego haven't done enough accessories and Brickforge is good for that though- nice rigging i couldn't have enough patience to knot so many ropes -but it sure looks good The name is same as "Cacafuego's" so i think you know pretty much about pirate history...

Great work from lego- good sailing ship- best lego ship ever- capstan is too small though but still very great parts- minififgs and all- and at last more realistic sails without patterns well 16th century ships did really have patterns but it is good to see new kind of sails- masts a´re also nice but i don't like those parts used for tops of them they are same masts as in the 4+ sets- still incredible sets- thanks for good pics

WOAH if that would be a set i would definitely buy it good that sets are not so good or i would lost all my savings absolute AWESOMENESS!

But it is great minifig- why it cannot be found from any other set- that's strange...

Where is the tank from the last crusade- and Sallah and Brody minifigs??? Also the Toht, nepalian grunts and Raven would be nice set idea - or that Club Obi-Wan... Bad that it looks like that no new indysets are coming but i hope thay will not yet stop the line- before the tank!

There will be at least one set of Rockband theme and game- did they do Jack Sparrow looking new hairpiece with bandanna(as it looks in a magazine- don't know if they gonna made that to be actual piece)) just for that theme i don't think so... Still there is no clear evidence of any upcoming potc line- but i would definitely like it...

Great ship good rigging- amazing size and nice details like capstan and all- but what do the chequered flag stands for as an signal flag?
