  1. Great Review and pictures. I believe the price may be a more than the average price for a set this size is at least partly because it has the printed pieces rather than stickers. So if we want printed pieces we better stop complaining. If we want stickers we better keep complaining.
  2. Very nice work. You replicated the original very well. I have a question: Where were you able to find the two black framed wind shields? I have searched for those in the past. There are very few on bricklink and they are extremely expensive. Anyway ... very nice work and thanks for sharing with us. Kevin B.
  3. Nice work. I especialy like the thought that went into the handle bars so that the driver can actually hold them with both hands. This doesn't work with the stock Lego handle bars. The driver is very cool looking with the suit and helmet.
  4. OOOPs.
  5. Nice job !! Too bad Lego coudn't provide us with some quality chrome wheels. They would be a well deserved final touch to this perfect tractor trailer model. Very well done ... thanks for sharing it with us.
  6. Extremely well done !! The creativeness and attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. Great job!! I have a few questions: About how long did you spend on this? Also how do you do the "uneven" brown roof and "uneven" black roof on the right? Is the small boat just place on bricks at different levels or is it securely attached? If securely attached, how did you do that? What is the orange stuff spilling from the overturned bucket? Thanks and again for showing to us, Amazing work !!
  7. Very impressive !! However, being a train fan I must ask one question ... besides the jet engines, were is the main engine located? Too funny lots of self defense, which is important don't get me wrong, but the big guy better hope his trip is mainly downhill. Very cool though. In fact, the "weapons" are the best part so ... Its too bad you weren't able to enter it in the contest. Again, Great job! PS I apologize ... after looking at it again, I answered my own question ... it's powered by pure evil. Much more efficient than diesel.
  8. Nice Review !! Just one comment .... Are you sure you didn't miss the placement of the 1x2 slope? Thats unusual to have a "real" brick as an extra. At least from my experience, when I have a part other than a 1x1 round, lever, 1x1 slope, etc leftover, when I look back over the intructions, I usually find that I missed that part. Just someting you may want to check. Otherwise thanks for sharing your thoughts and fine pictures. ktb
  9. Great Review "Vassal" !! I believe the "system" that raises the ladder is new and different then that on the 2008 fire truck. I wonder how well it works?
  10. I sure hope the news is true concerning the release of this set. However, my wallet isn't so sure. I also want to get the Emperial Flagship and I am ready for a new train set as well.
