  1. Yes there is. The only Movie Sets will be based on the upcoming Avengers movie. If you remember the press release way back from Comic Con last year it stated the sets based on Xmen and Spiderman are all comic book inspired.
  2. Oh it's a pain that under 18s can't do projects now, I'll have to see if I can get someone else to upload mine. Luckily though I'm not really interested in the monetary aspect of the service.
  3. Green is probably wearing stilts or something knowing Ninjago and I don't think it's 1005 related to the scroll but that's just my theory. I got my first Ninjago 2012 Set today, Cole's Truck and it's really great, the designers must of put a lot of thought into it making it so stable yet not using many parts.
  4. Unfortunately I doubt TLG will get the Power Rangers or Kamen Rider licenses, now there's some cool Super Hero Sets they could make.
  5. Exclusive sets, not promos. Nearly right. They're missing one as well. I'm outraged at the price of the 'Spinner Battle Arena' set. It's basically the Starter Set with 3 little models attached yet it costs over £20 more? What the heck TLG?
  6. You do realize that Ben10 literally has an alien called NRG right? I think this really is a blatant case of TLG being 'inspired' by another work. 2012 is pretty interesting for Ninjago. A four headed dragon, a fusion of a snake and a wrecking ball and other fun stuff. I'm just wondering when they will have a Gold ninja.

    Exo Force

Hello all. I don't post here very often as I'm mainly an action figure collector and while LEGO sets have always interested me I'm just not creative enough. However I want to start collecting the old Exo-Force sets but unfortunately I'm having trouble finding resources for it. Does any one here have or know where I can get the following things: Instructions for the Alternate/Combo models The Flash Games that used to be on the site The Comics I'd really appricate it if anyone can get me these things. I think if someone is going to have them it's someone on here. Thanks for reading!
  8. The Hero chases after a Fiery Monster that's causing carnage down the streets.
  9. No pictures yet makes me a sad minifigure head. I'd really like to see the updated Batmobile and Riddler.
  10. An interesting theme, but I think I would need to see pictures first before I can make a real judgement. LEGO sets are going a bit 'ol-skool' aren't they?
  11. Concerning the Red Skull, I don't think a dedicated head mould would be a good option. I think it would look ,dare I say, Megablokish. Spiderman, Killer Croc etc didn't need one but they still look fine. Speaking of thinks looking fine, I finally received my Green Lantern in the post and it looks spectacular. It's not the Chinese plastic and I'm also convinced that this and the Batman figure are exclusive editions. Here is what the card it came with reads. 'You hold in your hand one of a very limited number of preview-edition LEGO SUPER HEROES minifigures.' While it does say 'preview-edition' fans of toylines other than LEGO will know that preview figures usually refer to a small wave of sets/figures (Usually 2-4) that come before the bigger waves and are released at retail, or a special version of a figure that will be part of the main line, usually given out at conventions. If we take the new Transformers Figure Prime Optimus Prime, it was released at the comic con, though it is a special 'preview-edition' that comes in a fancy package and has different paint applications. Sound familiar? I'd get these minifigures now before it's too late if you want them! Though I'm still trying to get some money together for the Batman myself...
  12. The DC line is coming out in the Winter, while the Marvel line is coming out in the spring. It looks like we will be getting some sets based on the Dark Knight Rises in the Summer but this has been a bit vague. Regarding Green Lantern, aside from the Comic-Con Exclusive Movie Version, I don't think they actually confirmed he would be in the line. I imagine he will be at a later date, in a comic version.
  13. I haven't heard of this either, and I'm usually on the ball with these things. I won't make a judgement until we get more infomation but... Us lowly folk don't have any information on this and considering LEGO's last online projects (My LEGO Network and LEGO Universe) which were considered by a lot of people to be failures, I can understand why people don't have there hopes up.
  14. Just the lighting, if you up the saturation in a photo-editing program you can tell it's just the regular Blue Batman. If they were making another version, I think they would change it more or use the Comic-Con promo. I hope they don't though cause I'm trying to get money to buy it.
  15. Yeah, on the first page. How did you miss it? I was looking over the past Batman Sets, and I hope we get more buildings in this wave. The original line was really pushing it: Bat-Dragster and Bat-Buggy though this might be remedied if only the Bat-Wing and Bat-Mobile are appearing according to rumors. As well alot of people have been placing Wonder Woman in the Superman set but I think it's more likely she will be paired with Batman, as in the Justice League Cartoon they were close.
  16. I don't think we are getting Green Lantern or any 'Dark Knight Rises' sets in the first wave. It's more likely we will see those in the summer wave in time for the film's release. The Green Lantern mini-figures given out were based on the recent film, while the constraction figure is based on the comics. If a Green Lantern figure did make it's way to sets it's likely it would be based on the comics and have a difference appearance. The Catwoman figure we saw is based on the comics so it's likely we will get the movie version in the summer with every DC set being based on comics until the next wave. I think they will still to Blue-Batman as for the winter wave then release a new Movie figure for the summer sets. The one given out at Comic-Con was based more on the 2008 film than the new film, from my judgement. Hope we get pictures soon.
  17. Actually the Spiderman set with Doc Ock and Spidey isn't based on movie, as Marvel doesn't have licenses to any of the recent films (Stupid I know). Purely Comic-Book style like the X-Men Sets. According to the rumors this set will likely be coming out in the summer or be an exclusive. I'm not convinced there will be sets based on The Dark Knight Rises despite the press release, but if they are it's likely they will come out in the summer. The DC minifigs we have seen are all based on the comics apart from the Promo Figures which were Movie-GreenLantern and Batman based on the 2008 Film. I don't know why they would bother to make Comic versions of Bats, Cats and Bane when they are going to have to make Movie Versions later on in the year and If they are making a Batman-Intensive Summerline it's odd they would devote the Winter line to Batman as well bar a few exceptions. Hopefully LEGO Superheroes is the new Stars-Wars and goes on for years, not just one year.
  18. All that site's info matches up with other things we have heard so I am taking it as FACT. I already thought that it would be Superman VS Lex as there are the only characters from there series being made into figures as of yet. Lex could be in one of his Robots fighting Supes. The amount of Batman Sets is disappointing though. The DC Lisence has many characters, like the rest of the Justice League (Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter.) as well as Green Arrow, The Question, Cheshire. The Marvel Line-Up has a lot more variety though . I hope to see pictures soon to see if the Comic-Con figures really were exclusives or not.
  19. Warner Bros owns Travellers Tales so a DC Game is all but confirmed. A Marvel game or Marvel and DC being in the same game, who knows? But Marvel and DC being together in a VideoGame won't just appeal to kids or LEGO fans. It's any fanboys dream! Where did you get the news about Minifig Collections though? I didn't think this was on the cards and it was confirmed there would be 12 figures each making a Total of 24 not counting the Promos? A collectible range would be very good (More Characters!) but more painful for my wallet
  20. The last Street Fighter game came out last year and the next is coming out next year so it's not exactly 'out of production'. While I do think Video-game based LEGO sets would be cool, I think something like Mario would be more likely, as it is for all-ages, has a wealth of characters, vehicles and locations to make sets of and they already make Mario Knex so it's not a big leap to Building Blocks. (Half the Mario Knex is LEGO-Style anyway )
  21. Actually, the Catwoman figure shown was significantly different from the old one but yeah this Nolan design, could it just be that is Selina Kyle not being Catwoman? Probably not...
  22. I bought mine for £50 on Ebay. There are quite a few there last time I checked.
  23. I doubt that the Black Batman will get re-released as it was stated specifically that only 1500 were made. (Don't know if that was each or combined with Green Lantern.) The two Comic-Con figures seem the be based off the movie versions so that's another nail in the coffin. A swell I hope they aren't remade. I know this sounds very spiteful but I've bought Lantern and will be buying the Batman Figure as well to add to my collection and as an investment. If ever I fell on hard times I could sell them and in a few years the price will have sky-rocketed. That's if they don't get released in normal sets. By the way, I think that Joker Mini fig is absolutely horrible. It's like they went out of there way to make it bad.
  24. I wonder if by 2012 we will have Hero4.0? Soon enough we will have Hero 23.0... Still the new lines are very good, especially it seems TLG are taking some risks (Rahi, Rotating Character Line-Ups) which will hopefully pay off in their profit margin. Aswell I just bought the Hero1.0 heroes and some villans on sale on Legoshop.co.uk. It's cost me alot of money but with them all half price, I hope their worth it.
  25. Finally a big (Or XL) Hero for the line! Looks very good, reminds me of Mistika.
