Hello, all, I'm living in Southeast OH, USA, and have loved LEGO since I could walk. . .
Actually, I have a sad tale to relate to you regarding my LEGO days, which are all unfortunately long in the past.
My mother religiously bought for me out of her hard-earned money every danged pirates/islanders set ever created. I loved them. They were my babies. I washed any brick that got dirty. I fought huge naval wars all over my room, then tore them all down and built gothic cathedrals, and then rebuilt my BSB from memory. Repeatedly. At the age of 15 my dad asked me "aren't you a little old for that?"
To my shame, in 2004, older but not wiser, I succumbed to my Dad's nagging little "gift" in the back of my mind - and I gave every brick away.
So, I'm hoping to eventually rebuild my collection and play til I'm 63! Til then, I can only vicariously enjoy your setups and lick my lips till I get my own back!
(donations also eagerly accepted, lol!)
