  1. I built my 10030 UCS ISD yesterday *sweet* *y* :'-) :-) :-D :-P X-D , and it took me 13 hours. Now, everything was bley except for the binocular pieces that comprise the barrels of the cruiser's guns. They were in the 'old' grey colour. Has anyone else found this kind of bley-grey mixing on any of their sets? BTW I think bley is better looking on the ISD than grey. It looks cleaner. Old grey's fine on the battlescarred and yellowing rebel ships.
  2. Every year I get anything up to
  3. It's prob'ly not available for the US because everyone there already has a star desrtoyer, cause theyre real cheap over there, and alot of people just buy everything off ebay, thus destroying lego's US market... moan moan complain complain blah blah blah... :-| :-| |-/
  4. Not in belgium, though. Have a look at SAH, under belgium. 500 euros, as snefroe stated. Other countries such as germany france and spain may save loads of cash, but poor belgium seems to have been screwed here.
  5. Yes, the old 10030 have now gone to the bley side, my source being the lego online catalog: http://shop.lego.com/catalog/onlinecatalog.asp?c=uk1 Also you can see a comparison with the UCS and minifig-scale versions of the two monsters, which is quite cool. Look in the bottom right hand corner of page 45, and you will see the message: "with new brighter grey bricks". I do hope loads of people buy this collection, as my mum bought me the star destroyer, and i'm to pay her back when i have
  6. The massive UCS star destroyer, coupled with the smaller playset, with the largest pricepoint EVER for a lego set. Is it a good thing that these two radically different sets should be coupled, especially being in two different categories? Why do you feel lego has done this? This gargantuan collectionwill have 4500 pieces, the most ever for any lego set. And who knows, if they release a deathstar playset, could it be coupled with the UCS version to make the most collosal lego pricepoint and piece count ever? Discuss K10030 here.
  7. Good. The rest of the world are lucky to be free of the terrors of the Bob Of Sponge :-X :-|
  8. Hooray, more massive sets for me to miss getting. I never have enough money for all of them: Examples: Cloud City (not enough cash) AT-TE (got AT-AT instead) Republic Gunship (got Millennium Falcon instead) Rebel Blockade Runner (just didn't have enough money) UCS Snowspeeder (sancrawler instead)
  9. And the best thing is America doesn't get them yet, and we, here in Europe (and Australia and New Zealand) do! It's usually the other way around! Shame about the extrortion of the British, Germans, and Danes, though *n* :-( DAMN! Just after I post that the two appear on USA S@H! Typical. *wacko*
  10. Are there any shooting elements other than the Boba Launcher? What are the dimensions? Can you take off the sails and masts and then give me the dimensions? How many pieces in the skiff? How many pieces in the Sarlaac? Are there BURPS? Thanks.
  11. Yaay! I have the blue one! :-D X-D
  12. The origins of my username are from Mechwarrior, the Demolisher II heavy tank. I used to even make models of all the mechs! I have the following sets: Original landspeeder, 7146 tie fighter, 2 droid fighters 7111, anakins jedi fighter and the vulture droid, 7134 A-wing, sith infiltrator, rereleased snowspeeder, mini AT-AT, 2 jedi defense ones, jango fetts slave 1 7153, original jedi starfighter, flash speeder, mini Millennium falcon, Tie bomber, BIG AT-AT, BIG Millennium Falcon, BIG Sandcrawler, and the best of all, although i will not open it till the summer, when i will have more room due to house modifications, the UCS IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER!!! I also have various other (small) sets. The greatest problem with the current setup in my house is that the guinea pig hutch is in the same room as the lego, leaving a coating of sawdust all over each and every one. There is a terrible monster in the next room in my house. The dreaded Little Brother, destroyer of sets, who is only nine and does not know the meaning of 'don't touch!' I have recently discovered that a lot of pieces from my sets are not in the main lego box at all, rather they are lost for eternity, when my little brother made a model, took it outside, and when he brought it back in, most of the pieces were gone. I hate people who have no respect for other people's belongings! >:-(
  13. I have noticed there are two styles of box for the 4504 falcon, the 'blue' box, and the 'original trilogy edition' box. Could you please advise me as to wheteher one is more valuable than the other, and by what percentage, or amount. Thanks in advance.
