  1. Hi, End of november this year, we have planned to add a LEGO event within an existing exhibition in Lausanne Switzerland. For this year we have a space of 1000 sqm available, more if needed. I am looking for AFOLs to exhibit their own creations. Off course, as of this first event, we will not be able to take care of associated costs to the exhibitor, but we will give all the needed space for exhibiting for free. Event dates: November 17th. to november 20th. Looking forward for suggestions and comments. For enquiries to participating and or exhibiting please sen me a PM. Thank you. Best regards Patrick
  2. Hi, I acquired a Mindstorm Set about 5 years ago. My software on the Mac is stil a 1.1 version. Is this upgradable? Is my Mindstorm NXT2.0 compatible? What does it need to be? Can 2 NXT work together even if they are different versioning? What are the differences between NXT and NXT2.0 ? Thank you in advance for all your replies. Best regards Marsu
  3. Hi, Very interesting. Basically I had the same question at the begining. I'm buying all my Lego parts from BL since many years and spent an average of $500 - $1500/month since. It's becoming an expensive hobby being an AFOL. I've read in this Topic, that many of you talk about Lego Shops. Does any one of you know, why there are so many in the US and other "selected" countries, and none in other countries? I have read that there are no Shops in Italy, amd I know there is none in Switzerland neither (that's where I come from). There are also the Legoland Parks which have stores inside, Germany, Denmark, US, GB... Does anyone know if an AFOL could directly order his needed parts (in quantities of course)? The problem in buying through BL, depending on the needed parts and their prices, often I buy more than effectively needed and add some other parts, as the shipping is so expensive, taht it makes more sense doing, and off course the parts are not lost anyway. Just a thought. Thank you for any additional input in this case. Brgds Patrick
  4. Hi, Thanks for the replies, I am designing in LDD what I have physically built in real. No stress, everything is fine. As I also said in a previous post, is that I removed the bushs and the 8M Axle and replaced with a 9M Axle, the same issue appears in either ways. I have cloned, the 2 on one end then tried to connect them, no way, it does not work out. I wanted to make a scaffold, which works as long as I dont use any plate as a base. Once I get my square, I can't add the bottom anymore, because the 4 Bricks diam.16W with cross won't line-up with the base. Well thx again for the effort. I continue working on the real model. Best regards Patrick GREAT!!! I owe you something. Sorry haven't seen your reply befor the other ones. How have you done this? I started from scratch also, but did not end-up as this good. It's PERFECT . THANK YOU
  5. To All, Well, the issue is not over yet! Attached a new LXF file for current situation. After playing around with Scaffolds and so, I am stuck at closing my square. Pictures: http://dev.tekilasoft.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=19314 Login: eurobricks pwd: bricks2011 Use with respect. It appears that the parts move in angle and these can not line-up correctly. When removing the base plate, or any plate used as it's base, the closing of the square might close, although not all parts are being connected. I need the plates as a base for my construction, and wish parts being connected together. Again, thank you for your efforts and your help already given and thank you in advance for future support. Best regards Patrick Closing_the_Square.lxf.zip
  6. WOAH! Thank you very much for this instruction. You must be a genius, at least you are mine. I'm still...don't find the words. BIG THANK YOU, you made my day. Brgds Patrick PS: subsidiary question, is it a bug or not? and if it is, will there be corrections in future releases?
  7. One more question, what do you mean by "I always create a scaffold"? Might this be a way to workaround my issue? Thanx marsu
  8. Great, Thank you. I was trying to close my circle while I was still having the Hinge on top of the brick. I was unable to get the hinge changed to 30°. I posted here, i removed the hinge, bit did not try to change that angle! oops. Thank's a lot for your help. Patrick
  9. Hi, I want to make a circle using: 12x 16M Technic Bricks 12x 1x2 Hinge plates A circle is 360° Devided by 12 makes each connection angle @ 30° Everything works fine until the last connection, where it should close the circle, but doesn't! Thank you in advance for any support. Brgds Patrick non closing circle.lxf.zip
  10. Additional info to my original problem. I have now replaced the 8M axle wit a 9M axle and removed the 1/2 Bush. Same issue, it does not want to connect. Reason why I used a 8M axle with the 1/2 Bush, is that the 9M axle does not exist in black! Thank you for additional support. PS: Thank you for the info regarding file uploads. I will put my images on my server. Rgds marsu
  11. I wish to be able to attach the lxf file, but have already used 93% of my upload rights! How can I have more upload limit? Thx
  12. Oops! Sorry mught be at the wrong place. Can someone move it to the "bug reports" Thnx Hi, I need to assemble the bricks as shown in the picture. In real life it works fine and without forcing. I need this being done a couple of hundred times... Can anyone tell me if this is a bug, or if there is a way to get LDD accept it? Thank you in adavnce for your support. 13. Well, buying a bulk would make sense if the amount can be greater than just 200 DKK (€30). I am still in need of: - Thousands of Technic Bricks 16/14/12/10/8/4 - Part 61927c01 Technic Linear Actuator with Dark Bluish Gray Ends (at least 100) - Part 64448 Support 1 x 6 x 5 Girder Rectangular (minimum 1000) Just to name a few. So, question in reply to the question, would it be possible through LUGBULK? Rgds marsu
