I think they are referring to the black cables. They are in the wrong position on the pod itself. they should be on the sides not on the front. Here is a link to some pics etc that should help with the location of the cables and the "lightning" power binders that connect to the engines.

I like it. I think we need some smaller ones plastered onboard some of the cruisers. The only thing I can think of that would have touched this off nicely if it was either commander cody or captain rex standing there with the broom to stick the poster up.

All we need now is the crashed version just prior to the AT-AT stepping on it.

Yeah and we all drive lego cars to work. Hey at least we won't die from a car accident.......we'll just go to pieces instead. Just getting put back together could pose a problem.

The only gripe I had with this series was it was released in the incorrect order. We take the clone wars movie for instance. It introduces Ahsoka which is all good and fine. However there are episodes with her in them from almost the start. Its not until the episode: "the hidden enemy" (which is on the 3rd dvd last episode) which takes place on the planet christophosis or however its spelt. The clone wars movie continues after the traitor is captured and it all falls into place. They should have had that as the first episode to bridge the gap into the movie as in the episode I think there is mention of the republic getting Jabba to sign a treaty for the trade routes and then of course his son is captured sparking the story for the movie. Also the trident is sitting there and Ventress is given a mission from count Dooku to capture Jabba's son. The malevolence series should have been put in place a bit later. Perhaps after the Ryloth series of episodes. This way it would have given the presence of the ship a bit more volume and life as we would all be lead to believe that the ship had been active for some time. My personal favourite was the last episode of the series with that new merc Cad Bane, he looked so much like lonestar it wasn't funny. He also spoke in a similar way to a cult anti hero, Dirty Harry.

Big Cam your comment on the side weapons is actually true. One is a grenade launcher and the other is a light repeating blaster. Usually the AT-ST is driven by 2, the driver who also fires the main cannon and the gunner who fires the grenades and light blaster.

This is more a question in regards to the new tantive 4 set that has been released. My friends and myself have not seen it yet here in australia. Has anyone here in australia spotted it yet?

Best SW set in the 10 years of Lego Star Wars
Star_Wars_Rules replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Mine would have to be set 4504 MF. However I am planning on getting the tantive 4 so that could change........ -
I would have to say the technic lego pit droid is the worst set I have and have ever seen. The set number is 8000. The color of it is all wrong.....tan and green yuck what was lego thinking at the time? Here is a pic of it. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=lego%2...es%2F8000-1.jpg Sorry about the link but I only did a search for it via bing.

Nice review and thanks. I will be getting this as well soon. I just have to wait for my local Kmart to get them in stock so I can layby one. It looks great as a display model as well. It also looks a bit better than the USC one as well.
-
Yeah it is. It's also solid. By that I mean its not hollow. http://exoforce.lego.com/en-US/buildingins...ns/default.aspx If you look at 7700 to 7703 you can see them. They are plugged into a light pack which is at the back of the mechs and when you press a button it lights up the beam (red) to the weapon to indicate its powered up. The tubing is very flexible as the arm has almost full articulation so it has to be able to bend with the arm.
-
Hey guys the exo-force sets use the transparent tubing. Great battle there. Nicely done.

Bows to the master.......damn that was huge. It makes me wonder if anyone has bothered to do the babylon 5 space station like this before? I know its not star wars, but that thing was big as well.

Compairing 7778 and 4488 Millenium Falcon
Star_Wars_Rules replied to starstreak's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I am not one for detail here, but there is a vast difference in regards to the scale of what these sets were released for. 7778 is midi scale 4488 is mini scale I haven't missed the point in regards to the stickers and print plates, they do look almost the same and the midi does have more detail on it, as its meant to.....its bigger. -
Very nice Rook. You don't have the falcon by chance do you? I only ask this because it seems that you have used portions of the manual of the falcon to build the shape of the ship. I am not saying its a bad thing if you did this as its what I would do. Because its the only way to get the correct roundness needed, lego used those click hinge pieces to do that. I also agree with you that some official sets are just bad. Would lego do the YT 2000? Doubtful as most people will just MOC the falcon into one anyway.
