You might want to try some box, instructions and figure pictures next time. Overall its a very good job though. p.s. The 7190 Millenium Falcon was pretty good its a classic.

I wouldn't reccomend opening figure packs. I opened my droid one but hey that is the least valuable one. I didn't lose to much. The sith pack sure did go up in value. Another thing not to open would be co-packs/value packs it puts a huge dent in their value and they are a very nice collectors item to have sealed.

That is a great moc! It looks very movie accurate. I love how you made the designs on the wings and how you made it look so streamline. You can tell a lot of work and thought went into this. I can imagine that you got a lot of the pieces from Lego's Tie Interceptor. I personally think your model looks better than theirs though. Lego Builder seems to have the same opinion on quite a few other mocs

My AT-AP has the same clone troopers that are in the battle pack. Maybe one of the molds wasn't working right. I think that this should be discussed in the misprints topic. Stauder you sure have a good eye to notice that little difference.

No problem. Other maquettes have been made also like Boba Fett, Darth Vader, StormTrooper and a Black Hole Trooper. If you check the star wars review index I'm sure you will find them. The only problem is that Luke is the cheap one.

I think if you wanted more people to join Eurobricks you might want to try to offer it to younger people. Most people interested in lego are 10-12 years old. But then we might get posts like this... whatz up dawg? playin vid game riht noww and buildin a AWESOME lego MOC lol rofl cya! l8ter dude. I don't think we want that Eurobricks is growing at a good speed in my opinion. Maybe eurobricks could offer more contests and group activities to welcome guests but other than that I think its doing fine.

As KimT said it is the Luke Skywalker Maquette. It was availible last year. The original price was $100 Canadain (I know crazy) but they aren't very sought after so I picked up 4 for $20 each at Toys R Us. I have one on display in my first picture beside my x-wing, y-wing and hoth rebel base if you want to see it opened. edit: I forgot to mention that it was made by lego and a statue making buisness called gentle giants. I've heard a lot of people say that you can't display sealed sets. My display looks rather well. I have a few opened sets around them but for the most part the sets are sealed. I''m making a very large moc diarama for my mos espa podrace. I am waiting for a few more pick a brick orders before I can finish it. Here is my display... I don't just keep my sealed sets in a closet. I'll post more pictures in Panda's Home Display Topic.

Thank you for a good review Lego Builder. You can tell there was a lot of work and thought put into this one. The set itself is pretty good. I'm not a fan of the elastic bands (tend to stretch out) but the printed pieces make up for that. The wings and bomb functions on the ARC-170 make the ship really stand out. Thank you for sharing

That looks very good. I love how to rebel is right underneath the snowtroopers. Be careful with ice though. It can cause lego to crack.

I was thinking $50.00 U.S. plus free shipping and handling but I might put it up for an auction. I sold my last one for a higher price so I don't think I'll have any problems. Shipping for a box this big is also very expensive. If it doesn't sell than I will repost again and try your method. Thank you for the advice.

I got that Slave 1 off of the classifieds for $50. The reason I bought it was because it is a co-pack/value pack with the desert skiff. I wouldn't recommend opening those. Toys R Us just had a big sale and I got Ahsoka's Starfighter for $25. Another set to keep sealed. I couldn't keep the other 3 sets I bought sealed though.

It's not about making a profit. It's about having the set sealed. People don't keep sets sealed to make money they keep sets sealed so they have sealed sets. At least thats how it is for me. I also don't have anymore open shelving space left for opened sets

Usually new lego sets come out every half a year. I guess we will have to wait a whole year to get these. Lukes landspeeder will be interesting. I hope it is the same color as the one in the 4501 Mos Eisely Cantina. I wish lego wouldn't do remakes of sets but after 10 years I guess they have run out of ideas. I can't wait till pictures come in. These sets are going to be very interesting.

Its a rule that you need to have more than 1 picture to have your moc put into the index. Your ship looks pretty good but you might want to make it a solid color. I would recommend showing us the one you made in grey. It's overall appearance is pretty good and it is a good size. Also does this ship have an interior or a crew? Thank you for sharing.

The new Toy Story sets have those helmets for their army men figures. I would suggest that you wait till they come out. If you can't wait you should check out some customs websites such as littlearmory, brickarms, etc. Another route would be the Oxford helmets as suggested before in earlier posts. Good luck

Your review is somewhat confusing. You either over rate or under rate each category. This is just my opinion though. Please read how to deeplink images so we don't have to click the links to see each image. Please read the tutorials on how to make a great review. I'm sure your next one will be great. You might want to try a smaller and cleaner set next time. I don't see this set (star destroyer) as a good first review set. Thank you for sharing.
