LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Nikau replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'd like to see some lego children, do the minifigures reproduce by cellular mitosis or something? You could have a child with a kitten or something along those lines. -
It really is a beautiful machine and looks brilliant without the stickers too. Actually it appears a fair amount more realistic in the flesh than on the box. I bought one for $65 AUD and spent a good 3 hours building it. Lego should definately make more cars of this scale and detail because I'd buy them in a flash.

Ideas for 10193 Medieval Market Village add-ons
Nikau replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A bakery and a church with a well, on the same scale as the current set. Minifigs should include a baker, preist, soldier, another kid and a woman. -
My sister must have bought at least part of this set because I have the torso, the brush, the pink flowers and the pink fences. Or I got part of it from garage sales. Anyway, I wish I had the cat and the whip.

Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
Nikau replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
A harbour, like the Market Village but with a harbourmaster's building, a shop (fish shop?) and a pier also a few stalls and a rowboat or two. Minifigs should be 1 or 2 pirates, 2 imperial guards and 3 or 4 civilians dressed in clothes from the 18th century. Preferably with a kid too. -
A Red Bull and Williams fan here. I also like Webber and Rosberg amoung the drivers.

Argh, that purple is horrible. It's like that M**a B***s robot thing my Grandparents bought one year instead of Lego. It still contaminates some of my lego boxes.

Well either would open great possibilities in new set design, particularly for buildings. A Lego Parthenon or Pantheon would be awesome and a trireme would be good too.
-
Reincarnating forest men would be awesome, whenever I look for lego in garage sales I hope for some.

oooh can I join the next game please?

I really like the design, it has an aesthetic value lacking from most official Lego planes and follows closely to the real thing (minus the colours), something that can't really be claimed for more recent sets.

Australia seems to only get City and Creator sets, with a fair amount of Star Wars sets as well. Though stores really like the pirates sets now they've returned (we love our pirates ). Anything else is touch and go; you usually find only 1 or 2 sets from any other theme, if you're lucky.

I'm male but my sister had a lot of them (which I inherited). The animal-people were appealing to play with and the only figures, apart from minifigures, I have liked. The simplicity and rather large building bits actually worked well here.

Sad, K'nex used to be the only really different construction system. I remember when it was quite popular here, around the time of Town jr. Profits probably dropped and they were forced to do a megablocks. It's telling though that there was a whole aisle of Lego at the store and only 2 sets of K'nex hidden down the back of another.

i'd guess about 8000 pieces and around 80 minifigures Just a baby collection compared to some

1. A superlight red and white plane thingy. My Grandad glued it together, however it was broken ages ago when I tried to seperate the parts. 2. Black Falcon's Fortress 3. A pirate head once ended up being buried in the garden. 4. Need to get around to that... 5. Too many to name, most of the sets from city circa 1990 I saw on the back of old instruction books. I'm still in my childhood (barely) though. 6. A city I built when I was about 4 or 5; bits hanging off everywhere and it was ugly as hell, however, entirely fun. Other than that a castle I built several years ago that was connected by a bridge and was the best looking thing I've made. A huge rainbow tower made of Duplo and lego was also nice. 7. Gone and forgotten 8. Best thing I've ever seen.
