I love the technique used and the colours presented! It's just an aesthetic building and so is the model. You have designed a great LEGO model! That's why I am interested in learning more how you did it. Where did you get the silver parts from, which can be found in the lower area near the entrance? And how did you build the upper part of the building? There are 1x2 tiles as windows on each side, but therefore the plates have to meet back on back somewhere in the middle? How did you solve that "problem"? And then there is the white lower part of the part of the building that is hanging over... oh wow! I'd love to/ have to know how you managed this and what the skeleton underneath the visible bricks looks like! I guess you don't have a building instruction for this, but I hope you will still unveil some of your secrets about the model. =) I'd be grateful to hear form you!

Hey there! I'd be very happy if one of the mods could close this topic. Thank you for that.

Hey there! I recently came across these pictures from BRICKSET: Do we already know when and where these Sets will appear? I anticipate they are meant to be EXCLUSIVE Sets!?
-
Thank you for your reply. Maybe we can have some more answers to make sure I really own a "wrong version" or to confirm that there have been two versions... Let me mention that I got this minifigure second hand and don't own the set itself - so that's my issue... Btw: Every picture or review of 7283 shows the Obi Wan minifigure with dark orange hair... my fig really seems to be a wrong one then!?
-
Hi there, has there ever been a Version of Obi Wan Kenobi episode 3 which was included in the set 7283 Ultimate Space Battle and had the same hair as the episode 2 Anakin Skywalker? Obi Wan's actual hair are dark orange, but I have one example here which has like "sand orange" hair or so - well at least it's a similar colour to the one of Anakin's hair, a lot lighter than dark orange. Help me out, who ever owns the set!

It definitely isn't something spectacular, but I just wanted to know what the numbers might stand for, since there are different numbers appearing in the same set and all that made me think of it and I wanted to know more... so thank you guys for your help.

Hi there, If you have a closer look on the Battle Droids' legs for example you will certainly find a number on them: 30376 2-02 30376 is the item number, every Battle Droid's legs have thise number, but different from Droid to Droid is the last 3 numbers, these can also be 1-02 or 3-02 or others. has anybody got an idea what this stands for?

Hi there, TLG is again doing a lot to frustrate minifigure collectors like me. During the last year the Darth Vader minifigure from the Star Wars series has changed its appearance several times, but BrickLink did not list this. To bring light into the darkness I start this topic and want to know which Darth Vader minifigure you own - that's the best way to find out, which Vaders exsist. Here is a list of the Darth Vader minifigures which theoretically exist. To make it easier to understand it: First of all I'd be interested in where you got the Vader from: magnet set / normal set (if possible with item number) Then I am interested in the torso pattern. I only want to know about the Vaders with the modified, more detailed torso pattern! Here I want to know whether your Darth Vader has a belt print on which on both sides of the belt there are 6 silver dots or wether you have the version with 6 and 5 silver dots. At last have a look on the face - has your Vader got this little white reflections in his eyes, or not? Here the list: figure from magnet set / 5/6 silver dots / no eye reflections figure from magnet set / 5/6 silver dots / white eye reflections figure from magnet set / 6 silver dots / no eye reflections figure from magnet set / 6 silver dots / white eye reflections figure from normal set / 5/6 silver dots / no eye reflections figure from normal set / 5/6 silver dots / white eye reflections figure from normal set / 6 silver dots / no eye reflections figure from normal set / 6 silver dots / white eye reflections If you do not know whether you keep a magnet minifigure in your hands or a one from the normal sets then have a closer look on what is under its head. If the figure has a plain neck it is a minifigure from a magnet set - if there is a white print on the neck, it is a minifigure from a normal set. Take a few secs and copy the Vaders you own from my list and set them in you answer. Thank you!

Hi there, is there any difference between the Minifigures from the LEGO STAR WARS watch sets and the one, which come with the normal sets? Since there is a difference between the Minifigures from the magnet sets and the normal ones I wonder, if the Minifigures from the watch sets might be different too then!? Thank you for your help. Let me have the last word then. Thanks very much, I know of the other two Obi Wan Magnet Minifigures - just found this third one in the BrickLink listing and asked myself whether this can be true for I have never seen it. Seems to be a 'no' to the exsistance of this Minifigure then. -

Hi there, does this Minifigure exsist: Obi Wan Kenobi, Magnet Figure, dark orange legs, reddish brown cape cloth, reddish brown hood, gold headset pattern Hope you guys can help me out! Thanks Jango -
Hey there, I have some questions about the contest. 1. What do we have to choose from now? One of the three places given (Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, Hogsmeade)? Or are we free to choose any scene of the Potter books including Harry, Ron and Hermione during winter holidays? Or are we absolutely free to choose any place and time including all the Potter minifigures that we want to us? - You don't really make this clear,... Are there restrictions except for "not Hogwarts" and "1000 pcs"? (please also tell me whether the trio has to be part of the scenery!) 2. Do I have to tell you now, that I will join, or can I start building and then join the contest, say... end of january? 3. How much custom is allowed? Are custom minifigures, decals, stickers; printed pieces of tissue O.K. or are there restrictions as well? 4. Is there something like a minimum size? Thanks for your reply! Jango

Thank you very much guys, that helps me a lot. Sorry about opening a seperate thread for this question, but this is the most intelligent way of doing it ;)

Hey Community, has there ever been a version of the Princess Leia minifigure with smooth hair coming with the 6212 X-Wing Fighter? The minifigure would wear the Princess Leia Hoth outfit. Bricklink only knows a Leia with smooth hair which has been available in the 10179 Tantive IV, but I can imagine that there has also been a Hoth version produced. Please help me to find out whether I am right or I am just chasing a ghost.

Sure about the fact that there has been new light gray used to do the torso!? I got lots and lots of answers that tell me the torso of that special snowtrooper is done in old light gray.
-
Short answer: there has never been an official released Tuscen Raider with legs that are different from the ones included in the 7113 Tuscen Raider Encounter set. Where the gray legs come from - I just don't know, but I also made the discovery that many Tuscen Raider minifigures which are traded at ebay have those legs... but no idea why.
-
@Clone O'Patra: I know he was talking about the printing, if you have a look you might guess that we posted our posts almost in the same second... actually I wanted to reply directly to Rufus =P OK, is it confirmed then, that the Snowtrooper 'variation' from the 4504 has new light bluish gray markings and there has never been a variation with the torso of a phase one clone from the AT-TE or Gunship set!? I would be very grateful if someone who ownes this set (including the special Snowtrooper) could confirm all that.
-
It is not about the colour of hips or legs or hands or skin or whatever, I just would like to know the colour of the gray that the torso itself is printed with.
-
Hey there, I think you all know that there exists a special version of the snowtrooper minifigure in the 4504 Millenium Falcon. It's this guy: Snowtrooper Now I have a question and Bricklink doesn't help me at all... the clone trooper torso, which is part of the minifigure, looks the same as the clone trooper torsos from the well known clone trooper minifigures... but what gray is it? Are those bluish light gray markings on the torso, or is it the same one, as it is included in the old version of the AT-TE and Republic Gunship? Please help me out. Jango

OK, from what I already heared now I guess there has never been a whithe legged Hoth Rebel version in the 4500 set, right? Nobody here, who has had one in his set!?
-
Hi there, it's me again having a question. I'm sure at least one of you will be able to help me out with a problem. Was checking my minifigures, whether they are all ok, right pants, right weapons and so on, also comparing them to the original pictures on boxes and the listings on bricklink... so far so good, but then there was this Hoth Rebel from the 4500 Snowspeeder: My one has got bluish gray pants and white hips whereas there is a version of the 4500 Hoth Rebel minifigure on the original box showing a minifigure with white legs and bluish gray hips... so, is my minifigure a special version, or is it an error on the box, or have there been both versions of those Hoth Rebel minifigures? Help me out, those you own the 4500 Set! Here are pictures: Hoth Rebel from 4500 - bluish gray legs 4500 Snowspeeder Box and Hoth Rebel with white pants

Hi there! I came across a picture of a princess Leia minifigure that was special in a certain way - the Leia had smooth hair! So I did some research and asked many other LEGO Fans and traders whether they had already seen such a Leia, or could help me out with some information about it. Leia with smooth hair (Bricklink) The result was that now I know where to find this figure - in the 10198 Tantive IV Set... thinking and thinking I am now asking me one question, if that leia appears in the Tantive IV Set is there also a Hoth version of that kind which is contained in the X-Wing? Has anybody an idea of whether this princess Leia minifigure also exists in the 6212 X-Wing Fighter? I would love to figure out, what it looks like, because then I'd have to find one for my collection. Maybe some of you know more that I do, maybe others have one or both of the Sets I talked about and can give me information about which leia was contained in their boxes... it would make me very happy to hear some 'news'

I know Bricklink, but I wouldn't open this thread if I would prefer buying at brickllink or ebay or what page there is as well...I want private trades!

Hey thanks both of you, will have free time to check your shops out on saturday/sunday. After that I'll reply!
