That's amazing, there are a lot of interesting techniques you used, for example the landing platform. You could easily convert this into the scene from RotS, where Palpatine takes Anakin to be transformed into Darth Vader, all you need is to make the bridge longer and get Palpatine's Shuttle.

That is amazing, no doubt a master builder did that one. As for the official one, if you live in Australia, $379.99 is not a bad price to pay for 4200 pieces, even if some of them are small, the Taj Mahal is $499.99, and the Carousel is $399.99, so I think it is a fair price for this lovely set, heck the Imperial Shuttle is $449.99 and has just over half the amount of pieces.

I once had all of the PoA sets but I sold them on eBay for a relatively cheap price. What was I thinking, good review though.

Excellent review Rufus, as always your reviews are concise and informative, I really like this set, but apart from the cons you have already mentioned, this is a really good set.
