Bionicle Timeline by Brown052, on Flickr I made this timeline of the characters in the first year of the bionicle storyline. I based this off of the first three bionicle comics, and the Mata Nui Online Game. I made it in the style of this xkcd comic, http://xkcd.com/657/ This was meant as an exercise in using http://ogievetsky.com/PlotWeaver/ which is a great application that makes it easy to create timelines/story outlines like this. I also made a chart of the characters in the Mask of Life movie, but my computer crashed before I remembered to save it. Also, there should be another meeting of all six toa earlier on, but when I included it the graph ended up looking signifigantly messier, so I omitted it for simplicities sake. Halo sets. There are more than enough MOCs, custom figs, and Megablox already and it really doesn't work in LEGO imho. Anytime people talk about potential new licenses Halo comes up. I think the best thing Megablox ever did was take this license, now Lego can't. And anything dreamworks, I can't stand their films but kids can't seem to get enough. Hopefully Disney license will last long enough to prevent this.

Computerbug, they are making a Twitch figure. He comes in the garbage truck set that we haven't seen pictures of yet. I would expect to see them soon now that the Pizza planet truck has been leaked. Reaper052

This is exactly the king of layout I would love to have. With a train, cars, lots of figs, and a number of buildings all in a small easy to display space. How large is this in terms of baseplates? Reaper052

Because then I'll end up with yet another buzz. I'm still not sure. I'm probably going to wait until they are all out and then decide how to get the most figs for the least money. Edit: It looks like the roof folds up for rex to sit in the back but how are hamm and the alien sitting? Do you think all four will fit in the car at once? I hope so, it looks great. Reaper052

That Pizza planet truck set is perfect! And now I can get hamm, and rex, and an alien for cheap in the same set. Now I'll get this, woody's roundup, lotso's truck, and the garbage truck and will have a full set of figures! I only wish it came with woody instead of buzz because then I wouldn't need to get woody's roundup (I really don't need 2 jessies or the prospector) I'm probably going to end up with 2 or 3 buzzes, maybe I should build some star command MOCs. Today I attempted to join Lego Universe, but my email, AOL, blocked the confirmation email that allows me to play. I've changed my email settings to not block the mail from Lego, but now it won't allow me to resend the email again. I have no idea what to do about it, since Lego universe doesn't have a help page on its site. If someone who uses the Beta could tell me how to resend the email it would be greatly apreciated. I'm so excited for this line! I'm already planning to take apart my current Hogwarts for the pieces to mod the new one. I've always managed to miss out on the most important Harry Potter sets, and all the ones I've wanted are here. I plan to get the castle, the wonderful burrow, dobby's release (I've always wanted a Dobby ), and hargrid's hut. Hagrid was always one of my favorite characters but I never got the first two huts. I want the train too, but it seems overly expensive. The only thing I don't like about this is that I comes out the same time as the Toy Story 3 sets. Both of these themes are one I would love to get all of, mostly for full sets of figs. But I don't think I can afford to get all of them. Its going to be tough deciding which I want most. Reaper052

Twitch is actually a green insect-headed action figure. Pics of him were posted a while back on a Pixar themed forum but Disney had them taken down. Personally I'm thrilled to know that we are getting a figure of him, but this means I'll have to spend more money to get the complete set. As for potato head, I doubt we will be seeing him. The best bet I think would be to MOC him. I'm currently working on building the secondary characters from the films that I don't think Lego will make, him and slinky are next on my list. Reaper052

I really don't like how Hamm has that hat. I hope its removable because I don't want to have to buy both sets to get Hamm and Rex. Lotso seems like a weird shade of pink too, I'm hoping this is just the lighting and he turns out less bright. Otherwise the sets themselves look much better than the prelimanary pictures. Is the train dark red? And the crane is dark green which is always good to have more of. Hopefully picture of Lotso's truck surface soon, as well as the rumored fourth and fifth sets. Recently I have become interested in the history of the lego themes and have been wondering: is there a complete timeline of themes. I mean like a chart showing each theme and how long they last, which themes where around at the same time. I think this would be great to show the history of the product. Has anyone made something like this? Should I attempt this, or am I wasting my time? Comments Appreciated Reaper052 :skull:

I love this show, and am so excited to see what sorts of Mocs youre going to build from it. I've been thinking that if I get the Constructa-Zurg, that I will use the pieces to build a base shaped like Zurgs mask. I seem to remember something like that in the show, but I'm not sure. I also really like how you used buzz's wings in the front, I never would have thought of that! Reaper052 :skull:

I have a small town that I hope to someday expand enough to make taking pictures of it worth it. Mostly I think it makes a good backdrop for my minifigs. Minifigs, in my opinion, give Lego mocs and sets a lot of character so having a place for them to live is great for me. The people that currently reside in my town include a one man band, a homless man, some gas station workers, and a number of animals. Reaper052 :skull:

Has anyone else seen this picture? Apparently he's Mr. Pricklepants the Thespian hedgehog. He's a new character in the third Toy Story and is played by Timothy Dalton. Do you think there is a chance we'll be getting a minifig of him? I hope so, he looks like a great character, and he seems important since he's the first officialy announced new character. Hopefully he will show up if the license continues after 2010. Reaper052 :skull:

I have a rather large collection of Science Fiction books that I inherited from my father. He's read all of them but I've only finished about a third of the collection. Right now I'm reading Larry Nivens Man-Kzin Wars series, I'm on book 4. I no longer need to use the library to get old books. I've also recently begun to collect merchandise from the Toy Story movies. I had tons of the stuff as a kid but most was given away, so I'm working on getting all the main characters. I have Woody, Jessie, Buzz, RC, five green army men, Lenny the binoculars(from burger king), and three of the Squeeze toy aliens. I'm planning on getting the collectors Mr. Potato head when its released. And I'm hoping to find Lotso the bear once the third movie comes out, I love the idea of an evil pink teddy bear. I've been a collector pretty much my entire life, and someday plan to sell my collection of Ty Beanies, and all my Bionicles released after 2005. Reaper052 :skull:

I got Squidmans escape, Smash n Grab, a clone battle pack, and the Indy set with the mobster trucks. Non-lego I got the "Toy Story Collection" versions of Woody, RC, and the green aliens. I already had Buzz. I also got Up on DVD, three sketch pads, and 150 dollars. Thats a lot more than normal years. Reaper052 :skull:

I think that Disney is trying to hide Lotso's role as the villain. All the topics about him being one were deleted from the pixar planet forums for I'm assuming the same reason. Reaper052 :skull:

I'm actually fine with the juniorization of Losto's truck. It looks like a cheap plastic dump truck, which is exactly what its based off of. Plus its a cheap way to get some new figures. Lotso, the purple octopus, and that orange rock looking guy. I really want to know what kind of character that orange guy is. He confuses me, and doesn't seem based on any real toy. I want to know his name and personality too. Reaper052 :skull:

I am exited for the new hamm and lotso figures, but the Rex makes my brick-built one obsolete. I'll probably get all of these, though maybe not lotso's truck, I want his friends but I don't need two lotsos. Now I can get Jessie and bullseye without the prospector. And Lotso (Lots-o-love Bear) is the villain. He is the leader of the daycare the toys get left in and he's not in the first two movies. Reaper052 :skull:

I would definitely buy this if it was 100 USD or less. I do have a friend who doesn't yet know bionicle has ended, I haven't told him yet. He recently came out of his Bionicle dark age and would sell his soul for this set Reaper052 :skull:

Personally I think that it is up to whoever makes the moc. I do not usually build scenes that could call for gore as all I really build is town and starfighters. I see no reason why people can't inflict violence on there own figures and as long as it doesn't start showing up in real sets then I think its fine. Reaper052 :skull:
