  1. Excellent :) Especially pic 2-145
  2. Thanks I selected only a few of the pictures for my own domain. When Brickshelf have reviewed my folder, you can see the Queen in the Throne room just below the balcony platform. I placed the throne room there, because I hadn't planned the tower to be as high as it turned out to become. I started building it in february/march. Sometimes I had to wait a couple of weeks for a new shipment from bricklink to arrive, before I could continue. I probably spend about 3-4K USD on bricks - maybe even more. Some of my friends spend more than that on travelling each year. So I have no worries about that Yes the music on the preview trailer is Carmina Burana Oh Fortuna I had embedded Manowars Crown and the ring in the picture gallery. But I figured it wasn't really wise to embed a mp3 music file on a page on my domain, so I removed it Hehe go ahead. I have borrowed some ideas from different other MOCS as well Here are some more pictures of the Lion Statues: http://www.dennisnielsen.com/lego/liontower/lionstatue1.jpg http://www.dennisnielsen.com/lego/liontower/lionstatue2.jpg http://www.dennisnielsen.com/lego/liontower/lionstatue3.jpg And you can probably find more in the brickshelf folder, when it's been reviewed thanks I have worked on and off on this since february/march My first MOC was this http://www.dennisnielsen.com/lego/brotaarnet/ but I wasn't satisfied. So I destroyed it to make a bigger tower. I also got inspired by pictures I found on the net like this: http://www.dennisnielsen.com/lego/inspiration.jpg The gate was one of the first things I built. It was inspired by the classic Kings Castle 6080 http://guide.lugnet.com/set/?q=6080_1&v=z
  3. Thanks I agree it would be pretty cool, with a river and trees etc. But again: limited floor space hehe
  4. Thanks I removed the music. But it was Manowar - Crown and the ring ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UD2_-kXFFc ) Floor space is a problem for me. That's why I made a tower instead of a huge castle. I had to remove some furniture in my livingroom, to make the movie
  5. Since Brickshelf is a bit slow, I decided to upload some of the pictures to my domain: :) http://www.dennisnielsen.com/lego/liontower/ Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=390699 (Preview trailer for those who didn't watch it in the other thread )
  6. It's not really fragile, maybe beacuse the walls are 3 "legoknots" wide A video I made before the bridge and bridgehead was completed (notice: as soon as I removed my hand, the tower stopped shaking imediately ). A strong wind can't overturn it, but a nice kick can, probably like all other castle buildings It's 240 centimeter tall (according to google thats about 100 inches - don't know how many feet that is - but it's about as high as the tallest basketball player ) It's divided into 5 sections, so I can easily move it. 2 of them has interior. I guess i was a bit eager to show the tower to you, before I was finished with the interior But I'll finish the other 3 soon enoug A picture from the throne room:
  7. Hi I'm new here 34 years old, from Denmark, came out of my dark period last summer. I like castle and since I have limited space in my appartment, I started building a tower, instead of a huge castle. Well things kind of got out of control. This is what I came up with: (the Dragon is from Viking set 7019) I'll post pictures later
