I will change the batteries. The remote and the receiver are on the same channel. I put the remote a foot away from train and it is on fully. Thank-you for your help

I am having trouble with my train. I can see the green light on the train and the remote but when I try to make the train move with my remote the train doesn't move. Any ideas to help make it work? Thanks!
