  1. That is very true about the panels. I am not a big fan of them either, but I really love the chassis design of a "Real" technic car. It would also be kind of hard to put a working transmission into one of those smaller cars. But then again, these technic cars are quite larger, thus making it easier to install all of the goodies. I think that the guy that build this model in question is all about studless design. I suppose that everyone has their own preference. That car in that link is awesome. I am not a big fan of stickers though. They just make the model look cheesy. El Caracho has the best models that I have ever seen. http://www.el-caracho.de/ If those cars were real sets, I'd be flat-broke. :-)
  2. Has anyone seen this yet? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=233924 Pretty cool if you ask me. That transmission is awesome. The Chevy symbols in the front and back are pretty slick too. Sorry, I think that I posted this in the wrong forum. Could some nice Mod please move this? *sweet*
  3. I am talking about the chrome pieces used behind the seat headrests. That's all. I just knew that I had seen it done for the same purpose before. -Wes
  4. I e-mailed crowkillers and asked him what his thoughts were and he mailed me back with this to say. "I really don't care. I'm happy to see things are getting done better. I've notice many things over the years that Lego has done that I have seen before. I look at it this way, if everyone can inspire each other, then it is all good. I've been offering Lego ideas for years. Most builders already use a base design or ideas that The Lego Company has already done in a set, so who is to say who was the first to design what, and who really cares? just have fun building." This guy is really cool. I wish that he made instrctions for his cars. :( -Wes
  5. I was just browsing this crowguys folder and found these: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=140014 Those wheels are so AWESOME!!! :oo I wonder how much that cost to do those wheels like that. -Wes
  6. Hello, this is my first post here. :) I have just seen the new pictures of the 4896 creator set. It looks awesome! But I did notice something familiar about it from a technic car that I have seen on brickshelf before. Does this guy who makes these technic cars work for lego? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1591779 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=951715 -Wes
