Hello!! I'm looking for LEGO set 6540 - Pier Police. It has to be new in sealed box, or even new in opened box but with most of the internal bags still sealed. Many thanks in advance!!

My first Castle set was the 6054 "Forestmen's Hideout". If I'm not wrong, it was the year 1991, when I got it!!

My first Pirate set was the 6260 "Shipwreck Island". I got it when I was only 5 years old!!

I really hope they will re-release set 6393, without modifying anything from the original set I also hope they will finally release the Gangster-theme, keeping the '80s style of building and the warm colours shown in this picture!

I agree with you, It's really nice! LEGO increased details in the last sets, and tried to make scaled-buildings; this is because I won't ever buy such a set. In fact my entire collection respect the legendary way of building typical of the '80s! If they will ever produce the Gangster-theme, I really hope they will keep the '80s style of building and the warm colours shown in the picture.

Personally I think that Gangster-theme is not more violent than other recent LEGO themes. Then the conflict between good and evil is a quite old concept, even in older LEGO themes, such as Pirates, Castle, Space and Town too. Police has been present in the Town-theme since many years, and I remember that in 1991, set 6679 was released in Italy as: "Smugglers' boat". Then weapons was introduced with the Castle-theme many years ago, so I don't see the problem for the Gangster-theme to be released. However if this wasn't enought, LEGO could still renounce to the gangsters and simply release a new Town-theme set in the '20s-'30s. More over I love this simple old-style of building that seems to come back directly from the '80s! What do you think about?
