I started a lego blog a bit ago, with a different focus from many of the Lego blogs out there. www.deconstructinglego.blogspot.com I try to analyze official LEGO sets, examining their relationship to culture, history, imperialism, and other topics. And sometimes I take a few sets from the same theme and create a backstory, or analyze the development of a common set (like the many iterations of the tow truck). So let me know what you think!

Have a ninja or two to trade

I had a playmobil set about a decade ago that was a raft with one or two pirates, and there have been other Lego pirate sets that were rafts. I don't think it's copying, just a common theme.
