Ok, I may be exaggerating, but I had saved my entire lego collection for the day when I have children of my own. Most of it is from a phase of adult collection about twelve years ago, but it also includes much of the lego I had as a child in the 1970s. I went down last night to pull the first set out of this collection to pass on to my 5-year old daughter. While searching for it (918) I noticed very serious yellowing in sets with white bricks. I was aware of yellowing when exposed to light, but these are sets which have been sealed in zip lock bags and placed in a box in the basement. In fact, they seem to have yellowed more than sets I have in my office which are exposed to diffuse sunlight.
I need some encouragement and advice. It's about a 300 set collection and to go through and replace all the white pieces seems like an enormous task. I was really looking forward to sharing the collection with my daughter.
