  1. i also have this from set 6212!
  2. I looked on brickset and couldn't see it there.
  3. It was definately CHROME gold. I even compared it to the chrome gold minifig keychain and it was the same colour. It looked like the promo ones apart from the legs, but the head looked quite small. No, the colours were a lot different, but it had the thing were you can take bits off it or add bits on. It had the Clone Wars packaging though, like the yoda pen.
  4. I was at Legoland Windsor last week and i went to the shop first. I noticed a pen with a chrome gold C-3PO minifigure in the middle. it was £9, so I decided i would buy it whenever i was leaving legoland. But then I completely forgot about it! So when i got home I online to try and buy it somewhere but i couldn't find it anywhere! Does anyone know where I could find one of these pens online? I also noticed the Golden minifig keychains in the shop, you know the ones you have to spend £60 to get one free? They were £3.50 at Legoland!
  5. I went to newtownabbey yesterday and went to toys r s there. They have a very good selection of lego. they have a lot of discontinued sets such as lego star wars jedi star fighter and hyper boost ring. I bought the x-wing fighter and got a chrome vader free. i think the bionicles are good prices there but i'm not really sure because i don't buy bionicle. i also went to stewart millers and they also had lots of discontinued sets such as anakin's y-wing for £40. i also saw a set called dino 2010 for £50 but i'd never even heard of the theme so i don't know if that's a good price or not.
  6. Indiana jones temple of the crystal skull is only £59.47 at tesco direct. That's £13 cheaper than lego shop@home. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-4167.aspx Indiana jones temple of the crystal skull is only £59.47 at tesco direct. 7. amazing pictures!! fantastic snow effect with the sugar! is that tomato ketchup for blood?
  8. are you sure about the second picture having the dark beard, because i think thats just a shadow because if you look at the left of dooku's head (the minifigs left) it looks light grey.
  9. what's the eurobrick event? i'm new to this forum so i don't know
  10. how many clones would you be looking for the mace windu and asajj vantress?
  11. woops! silly me! i should have realized that before
  12. nice finds but the STAR WARS LEGO SET 4490 REPUBLIC GUNSHIP SEALED is the mini one and not the one you have pictured
  13. could you not just spray paint green or grey baseplates blue or brown or black etc.? or would the paint just come off on to the lego pieces?
  14. well, i will be going to england in july and i will be visiting the lego shop in milton keynes there (we don't have any lego shops here in ireland) so i have been saving to buy the lego death star 10188. i actually saved up a bit to much, it costs £270 and i saved up £450! i will probaby spend it on the new sets. thats quite a lot of money for me as i am only 12
  15. cool misprint! i wish had one like that
  16. I can't wait for the lego prince of persia! I think it would be cool if there was lego doctor who, but I don't think that's going to happen.
  17. wow!! you guys spend a lot on lego! (compared to me anyway.) I've only really gotten into lego since october last year. so far i've spent about £40 on lego. I get most of my lego by finding bargains on ebay, so it doesn't really cost that much.
  18. I actually don't have any clones looking straight forward!! I got 2 clones looking right and 2 looking left in a battle pack.
  19. I don't think you quite understand what I mean. The death star sets are still being made in 2009 but were released in 2008.
  20. I just got a reply to one of my emails to lego asking if the chrome vaders would be in the UK as well, here it is: The chrome Darth Vader will eventually come to the UK but we don't now when or where as every country has a different way of promoting this exclusive minifigure. It might be included in a set or distributed in Legoland or maybe even given away at LEGO events but we don't have any information about it! I am very happy about this because I don't have very many rare minifigures and this should be a good minifigure to help build up my collection!(if I manage to find one that is! I'll be bringing my weighing scales to every lego selling shop in town!) oh, and by the way, I'm a little confused about the sets they could be in. Are they only found in sets which were released in 2009 (such as the clone wars sets) or will they also be in sets which were released in 2008 but are still being sold in 2009?(I'm planning on getting the death star)
  21. you could also get it here for $20.
  22. ok i think i've worked it out. The link provided earlier was the correct one. It says what countrys the DVs are in at the top right hand corner of the back of the package. It would be good if somebody could post a better picture of the package because it's kinda hard to see the writing with all the light reflecting off it.
