I lack both lego ships and money to buy them I'm afraid so I just use castle-ish things and make them soldier-ish mostly :] so it's bases for me hoping to make a decent ship in the future though

:] Just make sure you have a lot more of one kind than of the other so you can make elite troops what you have the most will be line infantry, the others can be marines indeed or grenadiers, skirmishers or gunners (artillery soldiers had darker uniforms =D) IF these guys will be sold I think they'll be my grenadiers (french grenadiers of the imperial guards that is) they always got the newest outfits anyways

brown tiles are 0.12 euro for 1x6 at lossestenen.nl but a ship like this is priceless :]

Please don't get me wrong :] I love the ship I just don't get why the deck isn't tiled and why some cannons don't have weels and why the cabin doesn't have some kind of door I know you guys are some of the best builders out there but I really think she at least needs a wooden deck :]
