Vampire GT

That is just hot. Looks awesome. -
I have in-counted online Retailers charging for import duties and taxes on purchases when I lived in the UK and was buying items from the states. The money was payed direct from the Retailer to the shipping company so that when the parcel got to Customs it went straight on to the purchaser with out any hassles. This was because they had in-counted customers that did not want to pay what was due on the items so it could not be released and caused a big muck fest as the item was held in Customs or, it had to be shipped back to the Retailer at someones expense. This is possibly what is happening here with this. If you go to http://service.lego.com/en-US/HelpTopics/default.aspx?folderID=40 you will see that Lego collect all duties for which ever country that they ship to, not just NZ.

6X6 mobile crane

Another thing is normally the mid axle does not steer to the same angle as the front or the rear. In the document that Alasdair Ryan linked to it is shown on page 5. Well except when crab steering is used but that would be a real headache to incorporate in your model. -
Like it, like it lots.

Weird problem with LDD?
-Jim- replied to BrickClick's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I had a similar sounding problem, running Win 7 ultimate on a scratch built machine. Is it as if the visual picture is refreshing every couple of seconds and you have to open Windows manager to close LDD as it is non responding? I found that when I updated my drivers and such the problem was resolved and LDD works fine now. -
Ah, I thought you were a Kiwi Allen from some of your previous posts. Looks like the real thing.

MOC = My Own Creation. Well I think that is right.

[KEY TOPIC] Wanted bricks in LDD
-Jim- replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Your solution is not at all possible with injection molding. Has any one seen the Technic tracks number 3873 in LDD, if not can they be submitted please and a method of using them. -
Very good. Might copy ideas from your design.
-
Thats damn nice car. Love the simplicity of your suspension design and the use of the various face to capture the mood in the photos. I think I will make my own version using your ideas. Jim.

a trailer would suit this MOC really well.

Thats well done.

is it possible to move the front wheel forward by 1 brick? or, insert a brick in front of the windscreen so to make the whole front end longer by 1 brick.

Nice. You are a very gifted builder M_Longer

Thats a pass with distinction. You got me looking at my one now with plans, I suppose I best get a second model so I can Mod it. Jim.

Really like the look of the twin axle version, is it possible to drop the height of the bed down closer to the axles, so that the overall height of the loader truck is not so high?

Is any one experiencing problems with LDD 3.0 in Windows 7? When I try to run the program I get a 75% loaded image of the program and the when I try anything it keeps trying to refresh the screen and freezes up. My Graphics card is a NVIDIA Geforce 8400 GS 4gig ram duel core @ 2.60GHz loads of memory? Any hints?
