I bought the 8183 a few weeks back. I was sooo excited about it and immediately bought it when i saw it in my local Lego store. But sadly, I was greatly disappointed. The steering kinda sucks. You can't do gradual turns. It's just middle, extreme left, and extreme right. The motor is just okay. It's pretty fast, but has no power. You can't do any gearing whatsoever. I tried attaching it to the power miners thread wheels and it barely moved. I guess its good as a minifig car to play with. But not really for experimenting on gearing and stuff.

The name of the tank sound like the filipino word for naughty. :) Anyway, nice tank! I like the small machine gun in front. But the troopers seem very out of place. Maybe its the colours.

Thanks. :D you are totally right. I ripped it appart and counted it again, and it is actually 182 pieces with the stand. I guess I didn't multiply the number of the parts on the wings by two. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

The Rebel Medium Infiltration Tank, or RMIT, was heavily used by the rebellion during it's early days of rebelling.(hehehehe) It is a very fast and nimble unit, but packs a heavy punch. It has only one pilot, and the turret is partially controlled by the droid for maximum firing accuracy even in the heat of battle. This unit is usually deployed in hordes because it is easy to manufacture and only required one personnel to pilot it. The turret fires a heavy blast of laser energy, comparable to the guns on the Republic Gunship. It can target both air and land units. It can take on almost anything one on one. The rumble of the RMIT's engine strikes fear on even the most experienced Imperial trooper. Used 250 pieces Includes 8 figs 1 Rebel Commander 1 Rebel Pilot (the one in orange) 6 Rebel Troopers front right left top back turret targeting droid on the move The design was inspired by the snow speeder. I basically just made it fatter, and added a turret of doom. XD Most of the parts I used are from the Imperial Dropship and the Rebel Scout Speeder. Gallery Comments and critiques please!

The Rebel Recon Speeder was the rebellion's main recon unit during their skirmish on Tattoine. It is very fast and nimble and can easily dodge on coming artillery fire. It went ahead of the rebel scout speeder and to scout areas for hidden enemy. It is equipped with two small anti tank turrets and two anti personnel Vulcans. Used 182 pieces including the stand. features 5 minifigs: 1 pilot 3 rebel infantry 1 rebel mechanic front top right (yeah, he got shot. hehe) left back engine details cockpit opening function the figs I made the because i really liked how the snow speeder looks like, so i decided to make one that would look nice with the rebel scout speeders. Thanks everyone for your nice comments! I didn't expect it to be this well received. hehehe. Uhm.. the two big white things on the back are supposed to be sort of an over sized gas tank. I based the design on the gas tank behind the granite grinder. :D yeah, a drill would have been awesome, but I don't have the thunder driller yet, and anyway, I just wanted to upgrade the mech's body. Didn't really think of changing the tools. hehehe

Ohh.. Okay. My favourite theme is Star Wars but I was really into Bionicle for a few years. Now, I'm kind of digging the power miners! I just love those funny rock monsters! haha.. I am from Philippines, but currently studying in Singapore. Which rocks! Because I can easily get Lego here. :D
