  1. That's pretty much it, AwesomeStar. I'm sure if you lit a colored LED behind, it'd create an even more awesome effect. That's awesome, Skinny Boy!
  2. Sure. I have 2 desk lamps but only one is working at the moment, so I couldn't light the other areas of the windows...
  3. LEGO Studios resurrection! Serious, I'd love some new Studios sets. And if they'd do another set with an official 'LEGO camera', maybe they should make the camera DECENT. Idea for one new set: A street with the camera, director's chair, and cast, etc. Like, they're about to shoot a film on a suburbs street or something.
  4. Actually just a lighting test, but I tried to make the MOC look good. ;P Larger version: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3372/355868...90d4844bb_b.jpg Set-up: ( Yeah, simple. ) * So, if you don't really know what is going on, I'll tell ya. A man who's had a 'death sentence' all his life finally gets what was coming to him. I'll let you interpret what the deeper part of the story is. ;)
  5. Well, after a couple of months I return with a new MOC. Small space ships and vehicles like these seem to be my 'specialty' besides modern rooms and furniture.
  6. Oh right, I forgot about that rule. You wanted a black treasure chest in the MOC, and I didn't know LEGO made them in that color. Whatever, I don't think it's a huge problem.
  7. Excellent MOC. I love the rum in the cup, nicely done.
  8. I approve my creation( ), do you? BTW, this was just mainly my way of including those dark/light gray triangle bricks I got from the Star Wars Assassin Droids battle pack into a MOC. -Timothy R.
  9. I don't have a black treasure chest, but I could paint my gold one, I guess. I added the rock monster and sigfig just to add my signature, because I love the rock monster fig. ;) I'll remove it and try to find my red parrot.
  10. I updated it yet again, adding cutlasses(?) to the figs, and including my sigfig... Heh. Also, making it seem more like a treasure room. I hope you likey. The pictures aren't as good as before, but I kept the last pic because I love it so much...
  11. Well I did get a PM by a user who apparently is banned now. He sent me a link to porn(or that is what he says). Obviously I didn't click it, but that was weird.
  12. The second MOC in the first post was by his brother, but yes, I like his MOCs.
  13. OK, guys. I have better quality pictures up. Check the original post. I was able to get a hold of a HQ camera for the day. For the day...
  14. Awesome! I still have my old LEGO book, though the back is torn... I'll definitely buy this.
  15. I updated it, check the first post. My father has control of a HQ camera at his job, I'm going to kindly ask him if I can use it. Thanks again for the critique.
  16. I actually kept it still, it's just the manual focus ring on the camera... Thanks for the ideas. I'll try to implement them in next weekend, as the 'final tests' here are coming in a couple of days, and I have to study, study, study.
  17. Vig. 65d Hello, guys. Here is my entry to the Captain\'s Cabin Contest. I suppose this area counts...? More photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/timothyratner/ So, I had this scene concept written that 2 pirates were sneaking into the room of the pirate ship that holds the treasure, to steal for themselves. And maybe later, mutiny on the captain. Odd though, right when they were picking up a chest, the ship was attacked by their enemies who have a more powerful ship. The only survivors are left to drift into sea.
  18. Thanks for the welcome, guys. I'm working on an entry to the current contest at the moment. I'm also receiving $20 from an animation contest I won, which will be put into a new camera; then I can take better quality photos finally(photos used to take Futuristic Shoe Shop, cinematography shots, etc. were with my old camera. It broke down recently).
  19. Hello. Nice to be on a LEGO related forum. So, I've been building with LEGO bricks since I was very young, I continue to build. I have a lot of LEGO magazines since I started subscribing, though a lot are torn... I like to look back on the shop magazines, looking at the Star Wars sets mostly. Thinking "Oh how I wanted that set." My parents didn't have that good of paying jobs then, so I wasn't able to get many of the large and expensive sets TLC had to offer. But, I did get a lot when I was young, but not all at one time. Unfortunately, a lot of my bricks have been chewed on because of a habit to do so when I was young. I'll probably buy OVER 9,000 bricks on BrickLink.com and PickaBrick sometime. My first set was #5902 River Raft from the Adventure line. Be aware I'm still quite young, but believe me; I'm very mature for my age. My LEGO creations can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/timothyratner...57605727329692/ -Timothy R.
  20. Nice! I'll be sure to start working on it tonight. Will get me back in the building mood. I'll keep working on it off-screen before I post it here, I'd like to post it the day before it ends(day before my birthday ).
