  1. Hey guys, its been a while, but I thought I'd show you my latest project, a miniscale castle. loosely modeled after the medieval fortresses on the Rhein, I tried to design it as realistically as possible without making it look boring. the gate, which I am particularly proud of: and the aerial view, which shows the ramps and passageways within the walls. To accurately depict the odd angles that really characterize the German castles, I angled the keep: I would love some feedback/criticism! Let me know what you think! 2. Thanks!
  3. Just thought I'd throw up my replacement for Juergeburg. I like it a lot more, but am interested to know what you guys think. Its supposed to be a 14th century Manor House. EDIT: I put on some newer pics to shed some light on the full interior. This time I decided to incorporate lift-off floors: The lord and his guard: ______________________________________________________________________________ Out of time period of course, but I still like my legion! brickshelf when available: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=430774 Tell me what you guys think!
  4. Is there any interior? Haha, there is an interior, but I sort of entombed it in the construction process. The inside is very complex, and many of my pieces are old and frail, so I thought it would be best to sacrifice playability for stability
  5. Whatup Guys. This weekend, I thought I'd give a 32x32 castle a shot, even though I really didn't think I had the pieces. I ran painfully low towards the end, but I was pleased with the end result. I thought I'd throw up a few photos, despite my notoriously terrible photographs. Here's Juergeburg: (EDIT: I decided to resize my pics, and I actually replaced them with better ones this afternoon) tell me what you think! 6. The cave actually is a boathouse, and I did incorporate a series of ladders into the main structure. I also made a small boat that fits in the cave. Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm glad you like it!
  7. B-RV-3E Hey guys, yesterday I posted and idea for a sea house MOC. Many of you posted suggestions, and I thought that I'd post some pics to let you guys know how it turned out. I would love some feedback and advice. I'll link it in a bit to my brickshelf account so you guys can see some more pics. Thanks!

    Sea House MOC

Thanks! I built it last night, and I tried to put in as many windows as possible. I should have some pics up soon

    Sea House MOC

I love the dock idea, and it got me thinking about building a cave in which i can park the little boat my minifigs will use to get to the island. I think if I put both in there, it'll look sweet. I've been experimenting with half arches for a while, and I think I know just how I'll use them. Thanks for the advise on the "Hello, my name is..." board, I just posted some stuff about me Thanks!
  11. Hi guys, I've been reading the forums on this website for over a month, and I decided I'd join in and add some of my own MOCs. I've loved lego since I was very young, but only got back into it when my little brother started playing. I am a big fan of city, space, and star wars, and I love non genre-specific MOCs as well. I don't have as many pieces as a lot of you guys, but I think I'm pretty good at using what I have!

    Sea House MOC

Hi everyone. I've been planning to build an ocean themed MOC, one that is in the middle of the ocean. I'm going to put it on a blue SNOT base, and I'm planning to build a detailed house on a tiny rocky island. I want the house itself to extend over the island, giving it a topheavy appearance. I want the bottom to look kind of like an keep, but I want it more luxurious and villa-like at the top in the living quarters. I'm new on eurobricks, and I'd really appreciate some suggestions or advice before I get started. Thanks!
