Hi there boys and girls, I just picked up a Home One from Northlands Red Shed for $190. It was the only one on the shelf but after some snooping I saw a few more stored on top of the isle, so you will need really long arms or a staff member with a ladder. Lots of those pirate tank thingies for those interested So only the Tantive IV and the Visual Dictionary for me and I'm done this year

Hi legoman - I tried to PM you but can seem to get it to work. I will admit that its Monday morning and I am not at the peak of my powers, its probably something obvious ... but me no make it go. Hello all, I am a 30 something year old who spends entirely too much money on Lego. I enjoyed Lego a lot as a child then drifted away from it as girls began to become interesting. Then when I was older and was looking for a hobby I came across the Technic Backhoe set and that restored my interest. Then I came across a second hand AT-AT set and was then doomed to be broke for the rest of my life. I am married with a very tolerant wife (who just rolls her eyes when she sees my latest purchases) and have a 20 month old son who I am sure will one day figure out how to get into my Lego room and I will find my UCS Falcon and Minifig Death Star spread all over the floor. I mainly collect Star Wars sets, focusing on the OT (as it first came out when I was a child), the occasional PT set (I believe the PT was an important part of cinematic history - Mr Lucas showed the world how NOT to direct and write screenplays). I also collect Castle sets and the occasional Technic set. The rest of my spare time is taken up by playing Call of Duty 4 online. Yes I am old - but clearly not grown up. Thanks - thats a better price for it compared to S@H. But alas Halo Wars seems to be calling out for my $99 at the moment. Too many things to buy - not enough money. Need cash. For Sale: One wife, quite good condition - prone to nag, all offers considered.

Thanks for starting this Sam. It's Vimes here from that other forum. Some cheeky sod had the nerve to have my username here so now I'm Detritus. I doubt I'll venture back to FBTB much now. Its do as I say but not as I do there. No country specific threads now because they don't include everyone (no cliques they say), yet a mod has started a thread about the chrome Vaders and C3PO's that clearly doesnt include us. The hypocricy was not lost on me. "First, don’t disparage other members on the boards. That means no name calling, snide posts, or sarcastic responses." they say - but the same mod publicy did this to a member who had a different opinion to his (I might have agreed with him but thats not the point). I think they are not far away from telling us what to think next. Anyway enough ranting, I am pleased we have this thread again. Cheers Vimes whoops I mean Detritus
