  1. You're a monkey for now
  2. Well no one even has the rank 'Grand Duke' at the moment (if you do a search on members' post count, all of the members with such high post counts are either admins or fellows), so it seems unnecessary to invent ranks that won't be used anyway.
  3. That's from an EB member: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?...st&p=575915 I agree with what you've said... it looks really nice.
  4. I use it for all my sets at the moment, so the only wait for me is adding new sets. Since I don't buy in dozens, that's easily manageable. But the speed issues are getting quite...
  5. This is again a technical masterpiece. Sometimes you're pushing it a bit to far in terms of techniques and looks versus sturdiness and play features (although this actually has a lot of opening doors and compartments), but that's just an issue of personal taste. So there can be no argument about that. But I'm always amazed with what you can achieve in terms of 'looks' with all all those little bricks and plates. Well done!

    City 2010

The fire hydrant wasn't in any City sets yet, except for the 8401 City Life set. The other were all included in the Modular House sets. But studs on 4 sides in rather unrealistic too. I think it would be best if they would use the brick 1 x 1 with studs on two sides.
  7. I don't think we'll ever see back the old style hinges, as TLG seems to have replaced them with this pair: At least they provide for 'free angles', but they are still slighty bulkier than the old style hinge.

  9. I keep 'em... put them in a storage box (unorganized... or did I pick the wrong option?).
  10. Nice how you managed to keep it compact. Now make a 7-wide back (surprised Ralph_S didn't make a comment about this) and put a minifig in the front!

You didn't link to the bigger pictures, so for anyone interested: http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/9612/dsc00455o.jpg http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/1806/dsc00453f.jpg The results looks nice, but that's not Lego!
  12. It's mentioned in the linked review. Good old classic unprinted shako
  13. Hmmm, I don't know yet about the contents... In terms of minifigs I would have definitely preferred it if different minifigs were included for the captain, the skeleton, and even the mermaid. The accessories are nice though.
  14. Boname changes? I didn't notice anything yesterparte... Probably after the Tournament of Retribution (Redcoats versus Bluecoats).
  15. LOL @ online translators

    Custom Sails

Where do you get the unbleached cotton (I don't know if it's the correct name either, but I get what you mean). Any pictures of your sails?
  17. Nice, I really like your 'Whitecoats' as well.
  18. That's a great layout you have! Do you have more pictures? The fire station is right where it's supposed to be (at the T-junction, so the fire fighters can immediately choose the right direction).
  19. I don't really agree. 16 wide buildings could fit in nicely. In European old-town streets, you see a lot of variety in the width of buildings (supposedly as spaces between existing buildings got 'filled up'). As far as I'm concerned they can drop the 1930's 'requirement'. Except the old fire engine there is nothing really specific to past times in those sets up to now. And that engine can easily be used in parades and such... A supermarket in an old downtown building with apartments above would be nice. But I can think of a whole list of buildings that would have existed in the 1930s but haven't been done yet. So far the Modulars are far from repetitive and I trust Lego designers can come up with more unique designs and techniques. 126 x 32? that's big! (I'm sure you mean 16 x 32)
  20. Proficiat / Congrats!
  21. I never had the comic when I was a kid and I choose to read the English version to learn the names of the characters. I will have to go through the Dutch version when I have some time (when I started reading I didn't think it would be such a - relatively - long story).
  22. Not much new, except maybe some more info on Ben Ten, which I don't really care about anyway (I was already convinced that 3xxx would be System City sets). Is there any indication that the list we have so far will be the full January line up, i.e. no Pirates in January?
  23. Thanks. I never knew it was available on there. I just read the entire (English language) comic

    Custom Sails

Really nice designs. How do you transfer them to/print them on cloth? What kind of cloth do you use?
  25. You could have also used your first post on EB to introduce yourself, instead of rant about TLG. Maybe you can also ask them if they can call you the next time they plan to put something on sale (Furthermore, I don't see why this should be in trains and town, this should be in the buying/selling or community forum, if at all posted)
