Thank you Dhivael. I figured as much - judging by the task manager diagnostics, LDD freezes up (while it occupies a good deal of system memory, the amount is static and does not change). The model is a building and I have not had much success breaking it into pieces. LDD on my computer simply stops working around 30,000 bricks.

I'm new and hopefully in the right place, but I was trying to upload my LDD model and it will not generate a building guide. I've left it on over night, and tried re-booting, but after about an 1/16th of an inch progress, the dialog box just sits there. The model is quite large (26,000 bricks) - is there an LDD size or brick limitation? Any thoughts, ideas or help is most appreciated.
