oooh I like the looks of them heads ! I really like the chin strap its just in the right place and I also don't mind them being used for the bp as well it looks like it could fit in. I am more inclined to believe Ras and Kim than Sok117 for info on upcoming sets because of their status in these forums. I really like how lego's focus isn't really on clone wars this year but rather film anniversaries which is really good. How many of this years sets are actually clone wars?

Wow Ive certainly missed a lot while on holiday. The temporary store does seem tempting to get some sets at marked down prices. I would really love it to become permanent. Does it look like a regular lego store like this one?

Yea but for this next wave I think I will just buy them off the starwars.com website because they will probably be cheaper than buying them here. It will also give me a chance to buy some other things aswell

Great review Inky! I definitely prefer this one to the previous one simply because it just seems to fit into the mini sets better than the previous one because it doesn't have as much detail. I like the little lime green strip by the front turrets cause it contrasts the red really well.

Yeah I also had trouble seeing the changes before you pointing them out. I would love to see close ups of the mods if that is possible.

Yeah there was some great deals because they were about $20 cheaper than RRP and then they had always had atleast 20% off it gave huge discounts. They haven't been discounting sets lately though...

Do I see new rebel helmets? These pictures are a lot better than the last ones. The Rebel vehicle doesn't look that great but I don't reall mind.

Yeah I would say to get the older sets now while you still can. But also dont be afraid to get newer sets if you can get a great deal for them. I remember I was able to get the 2007 y-wing last year, I was stoked! Thanks you lego education store in Brisbane, Australia (Its one of my favourite sets)

I feel this set is rather average. There is too much red imo and the fluro green doesnt really help the colour scheme. The propellers are a nice touch but what I like about this set is the shark man. His head looks great and the decal on it makes it even better. Great review

It think its just the new metallic ones that they have been using for the past year. I think they are better than the chrome ones anyway

Great moc Pedro and congrats on becoming a knight as well. The Tri droid looks awesome, the best I have seen ever! The head looks really great, its a great technique to make a circle. I really like the colours you used especially the blue it looks great.

I dont but here in New Zealand it is quite over priced for what it is. It is a nice ship but I think for me the cons outweigh the pros.

Has anyone noticed that the top banner on the new box design has different patterns in the background? I wonder if that has anything to do with what movie they are in or is it just a coninsidence? Yea we havent really heard anything about plo koon's starfighter and the emperor's shuttle. I think they sound the medium sets in next years waves in my opinion.

there seems to be quite a few really good deals out there. I would love to get Shanghai Chase but I need money to buy concert tickets! EDIT: Does anyone think that K-mart will have the next waves sets as cheap as last january's prices? Cause I got some great deals and wouldn't have been able to get every set I wanted otherwise.

its nice that Anakin has a new face for the freeco speeder but I feel it was kinda unnecessary to do so. His old head was great and why did they have to change it just to put on a different smile? Seems kinda strange to me

they all look so incredible awesome find Pi! Freeco speeder - the minifigs look great especially Thi-sen his head looks really well done. great job lego! However I am skeptical about the printed insignia on Anakin's hood. It looks great but in the Clone walker battle pack the insignia didnt turn out that well on the gunner's helmet. I just hope they have improved their method of applying it on. The ship looks very sleek especially the cockpit that piece does look great and so does the same piece but in white behind it. It does look like there is a lot of stickers to put on though... Droid Tri Fighter - I am so glad it didnt come with buzz droids! The ship looks great I love the colours especially the black in the dark blue it looks great. The printed Rocket droid commander didnt really needed to be added in my opinion. Sure, it gives the set more appeal but I think the set would have been fine with out him. TIE Defender - Its a great looking ship but not for my taste (im not an EU fan). What I really love about this though is the new pilot helmet, it looks incredible. I like the ridge at the top, it really looks like it does in the movies. ARC 170 - Ship looks really good and great improvements on the last one. What impresses me is the droid though. The grey and green go really great together. Still its hard to see how the pilots helmets really look like though which is a bit annoying for me. Cant wait to get these and be able to see them up close and personal!

Thanks computerbug . Yea you are right the pod racer colour is really different to the Indy colour. I think I prefer the newer one

I would really love to see a system Millenium Falcon. They do really need to make an in between midi and UCS scales in the next couple of years. Even if they just remade the 4504 one with new parts and new guns that would be really great. I cant really justify spending all that money on the UCS so just build it and look at it because its too heavy to actually play with.

As a TFOL I dont go round shouting it to the world. When I do go into buy lego though the employees give strange looks and when I go in with my little brother and my mum they will usually give the bag to my little brother instead. My two brothers do like the star wars sets I get but they arent into it enough to buy the sets, they leave that to me. My Mum is fine with it and gladly likes to pay for sets on occasions when I say I will pay her back but she never takes the money out if my bank account. My dad doesnt really mind the hobbby as such but rather the money I put toward all the sets. I get $10 a week which in New Zealand is about $7 US. Out of the $520 I get a year probably $50 of that doesnt get spent on lego. When I get my first job that amount of money and sets I will have is going to sky rocket which is great news for me, not so great news for my shelves . My friends know that I am a fan of lego but they dont really think its that weird. I don't really care about what people at school say about me it because I probably wont even see them when I graduate so it doesn't matter me. I don't exactly tell them about it anyway. Lego is perfect for what kind of line of work I want to get into anyway (architecture and engineering) so it makes me think about structures and designs a lot. I would love to have a lego store where I live so I could work there, it would the perfect job for me.
