  1. Nice job. As some have said it's rather blocky. Maybe you can add some details or a few plates here and there especially on the plate prior to the start of the back body. But overall it's good the way it is. On another note though... Why do B-Frigates have stick thin bodies? Is it even practical?
  2. Thanks for the pics. ^^ Both look just as good. This is one hard choice to make. Once again, Nice review
  3. Nice review. But this set is overpriced as some may have put it. Hmmm, maybe instead of comparing it with the Gunship, you can compare it with a similiar vessel? Say.... the 7665 Republic Cruiser? They should have included a Vader fig to go with Capt's alt face and maybe a trooper or two and an Imp Officer. That would really balance things out.
  4. Soooo detailed! I especially like the stained windows. Nice!
  5. Nice BrickFilm ! Very well made and put together. Must have took you long but it was really very well done. LV 426. Haha. For a while there I thought they were really gonna discover an Alien race.
  6. ^ Well I think those two things that are the "suction cups" that will be attached to the AT OT will be the landing gear for the Dropship and provides support for it to stand up when not attached to the AT OT. You can see this on the first page of this topic and it's the first picture too ! Well overall, I think the sets for 2009 are great and I plan on getting one of each except the Y-Wing and Venator (Ugly Palps figure) and if the AT OT doesn't ship here, I won't get that one too. (Hope it does ship though, then I'll have two Gunships) Also, does anyone think it is weird that TLC would release so many good sets at one go ? Could it be that since the license for SW is expiring, they are going all out ? And, wow, discussion of these new sets are bringing in news members and lurkers. Sorry if any of this isn't related to the topic, rules here are quite strict >_<...
  7. Well... As Mr. Spielbrick might have noticed in this picture: Picture Is Marion really getting a new head or is it just some mess up with another head ? I am liking the new Indiana sets but I seriously don't know which to get. So many good SW and Indiana Sets + I am from SEA which further complicates things..... >_< If Marion is getting that new facelift, well... I'll say NO to the Ambush in Cairo set. She was cute as she was and I hope it was just some mix up when they were building the set for display... Keeping my fingers crossed... Anyone got a clear picture of the box for Ambush in Cairo ? I need confirmation !! Thanks. And the Raider's Plane looks awesome. ^_^
  8. What s/he said. Since I notice that the most common Astromech droid we seem to get is R2D2. We could mix and match the bodies and head parts. Also to add maybe a randomness factor into it, LEGO could put random coloured droids into each pack to add more variety to Astromech droids that we have. This is also a good incentive for buying more than one of this battlepack (A plus for LEGO). It doesn't stop there. LEGO could also do this kind of random minifigure to other existing battlepacks as long as it is relevant to the said battlepack. Example I: For the existing Clone Walker Battlepack: Replace the Clone Gunner and put a random type Clone Trooper instead. Who knows you could get a Clone Pilot. Or a Clone Scout (Like the two shown in the Clone Wars movie where they spied on that temple where they were keeping Rota on that purple coloured jungle planet). OR a Senate Guard ! An ARC Trooper ! Example II: For the Imperial Dropship: Replace the Imperial Shadow Trooper with something else. Scout Trooper, Dark Trooper, Sand Trooper, Imperial Pilot or Imperial Something ! Of course this will drain our pockets and all but it adds variety to our army. Well one can hope, after all this is a What Would YOU Like to SEE topic.
  9. Well. Not that we really pay thrice the amount here. We just pay the converted amount of what you guys over there (Singapore) pay. The only plus side is that in Singapore they sometimes have LEGO sales which offer better discounts than the ones over here in Malaysia like the Republic Gunship which I bought over there for RM 250 less. Yeah it's a pricey hobby like I Scream Clone said, we just have to choose the ones we like and work hard towards achieving the sets we want. To LEGOscum: You can try hunting at BricksWorld stores. Just Google it up and you can find where they are located in Singapore. Happy Hunting !
  10. What CloneCommanderDelta7 said about the Clone Trooper in the Venator is true I guess because... Does anyone notice that the Clone Trooper in the Venator has a Storm Troopers body ? So it's still preliminary I guess.
