  1. Thanks You guys for your input. I know the LEGO Direct people are really excited about it and we'll hopefully get to see some really good stuff coming from them soon. Thanks again. Steve
  2. I don't know how many of you this will matter too, but Vikings are finally available on US Shop@Home. hooray. Just wanted to make sure anybody who might find this information useful has it. Vikings on US Shop@Home Steve
  3. Actually the Heads are Tothiro's handiwork. the bodies are just Final Duel 2 lukes. I'll try to get a better pic for you when I get home tonight. Steve
  4. I picked this one up at Toys R Us last night, its a really fun build. Lots of neat slopes and other cool pieces. steve
  5. I really dig this. it is a very cool idea and well implemented. have you thought about putting tiles over the studs on the legs and arms (possibly in black) to give it a sleeker look? Steve
  6. I'm just glad there's going to be Batman personally. People sometimes complain about licenses and what they may mean to the creativity of the sets, but I really appreciate how they've diversified the catalogue in such interesting ways. I dunno, I think licenses have just made LEGO more fun for me. Steve
  7. D`oh! I just added the gallery so you can see interior shots. Silly me. :$ Steve
  8. This is the Mos Eisley Cantina I built earlier in the year. I built it initially as a minifig display piece, but it just kept getting bigger. Anyways, I'd like to hear what ya'll think. Gallery
  9. I really dig the engine pods on the Orange one. Your use of color is great as well. Steve
  10. I still don't understand why I need so many more purple and magenta bricks. *wacko* At least we got cool red buckets in America instead of the blue ones. they were a Toys R Us exclusive over here. Steve
  11. mmmmmmmmmm delicious Batman sets. I'm totally a Star Wars nut, I always have been (card carrying member of the fan club thank you very much). Its served me well, the shallow women leave you alone usually when they find out the depths of your geekiness, and that's when you find the cool ones. 8-| I always thought of Vikings as Castle personally, and I sadly missed ninja altogether (stupid dark ages). |-/ Steve
  12. I'm right there with you on how that old A-wing just needed a few tweaks. I'm really excited about the new one (I'm glad this answers the "will this be sold in Europe" question). The old one sort of looked thrown together in my opinion, but this one looks like they really took some time and consideration to get it right. Sne, I know you may not be a fan of the cockpit, but if you ever look at a cross-section of the fighter the cockpit is tiny. At least we get that cool printed slope again. The A-wing pilot is still one of my favorite mini-figs. Anyways, I'm glad to see its already showing up for some folks. Steve
