Finally got a version of Black Monarch's Castle 6085. All the pieces are in excellent chape, no dents/discoloring/broken parts. Great looking set.

Thank you Mr Benn, glad I'm not the only one. Will try to make the hole bigger before I drop an e-mail at Lego customer service. They won't be surprised if so many people are having this issue.

Just received this set and I'm having 'troubles' with putting together the winged part for Wicket. The fishing lines can't connect as inside of the hole, there is a narrow part that is way to narrow to fit another fishing line through. Anyone else had this problem? I know I can make the hole bigger with a small knife/screw driver but still, seems odd. BTW, I know this is an old topic but very fitting for this issue. A lot more fitting then those damn fishing lines!

Thanks for the review. Still not sure if I'll be getting this set...

Couldn't let them battle it out on their own, ordered 8038 too...

7956 Ewok Attack, that means my first Ewok set. For 22€ it seemed an OK price.

Going to order 7959 Geonosian Starfighter and 8086 Droid Tri-Fighter. Still looking for 7869 Battle For Geonosis but at 50€ plus about 6€ transport on most websites (can't find it in a store) it's just waaaay too expensive. Suggestions for a cheaper online store are more then welcome

Bought my first 'town' set since my Dark Years: Grand Emporium 10211. It was a big purchase at 144.99 €. Too bad I couldn't find Green Grocer 10185 at a reasonable price, that looked great too. If anyone knows of a place, please pm me.

Great scene and story.

Nicely done, I like it.

I have the following sets for sale: - 8088 ARC-170 Starfighter - 7915 Imperial V-wing Starfighter Of both versions, I have a brand new sealed version and another one. The other has been built once and that's it so they are in excellent good-as-new condition. If you are interested, give me a pm with a good offer. They are brand new and semi brand new so don't make low offers as I will not 'give' them away. I am in no hurry to sell. Greetings!

It was a few years back. I was walking through a shopping area, just to go meet someone. Then I saw the crowny castle and I was sold again. My last set before that was from the early 90's, Classis Castle theme offcourse. Tried my hands at SW theme but for me, the possibilities aren't that great like the Castle/Kingdoms theme. I'll probably end up selling my SW sets...

In Belgium they will be available at the end of this month so it should be about the same time, no?

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
Bram replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Looking extremely good. I'm amazed of the things you manage to put together. Keep it up! Can't wait for another update. -
The rocks and 'wooden' structure is very nice. Great work!

Yes I was talking about 7947. The other set, 7187, is €17 here but not yet available. Too bad, want to order at least 2 of those. But 7187 is the only set of the new wave that I like so that could be more then 2 sets of 7187 in the end.
-
Only $20?! I would definately had bought a few more then in my case. The cheapest I can find is still €44...

Seven?? Wish I had the money to spend that much on Lego. I only have 1 version of that set. Been thinking about buying another one but haven't decided yet. They are reasonably priced and the new wave doesn't have many interesting sets so that could be an oportunity. Anyway enjoy building those!

I agree with StoutFiles. This 'hobby' can get out of control fast if you have a lot of bills to pay or don't have a very high paid job. I'm renovating my house big time so the Lego buying was on hold for about a year. Now with the end in sight, I ordered the Clone Turbo Tank as a reward for all my hard work :p.

Just ordered Clone Turbo Tank. Will be my first bigger star wars set. And hopefully many more will follow...

Thinking about buying 'Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker' but I'm not sure. It's still 240 euros... For that money I can buy Republic Frigate, Battle for Geonosis, Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, Geonosian Starfighter and still have 20 euros left to spend on something else! I have neither of the mentioned sets so it's 1 set vs 4 sets and some change. Any suggestions are welcome. (and 'buy them all!' is not a suggestion ;-) )

I ordered this one about a week ago for 79 euro, give or take. Last saturday I was at a large shopping centre and they were selling it for 99 euro (at Intertoys, quite a big store chain). I was a bit irritated about the large difference as the biggest audience for these sets are children I assume and they shop in the stores, not on the internet like I did. So, those stores are really ripping them kids of as I see it because they don't have the 'luxury' to find their Lego elsewhere. Not sure I would've bought it if I had to pay 99 euro for it either...

Received all the available Kingdoms sets yesterday. Started with the big one and I must say the castle gate really is a nice build. Didn't expect the gate system to work so wel. I noticed they used quite a bit of smaller parts where they could've used big bricks so that's nice. I stopped after the gate as it was getting late but the set does look promising. Ow and the figs are great but the Dragon Knight looks awesome. The best by far, even without his armor.

And by the looks of it, they won't be seen any time soon

Superb stuff. Really impressing.
