  1. Excellent MOC . When I first saw it, my first thought was how can I copy it and replicate it for myself. I love how accurate the angles are.
  2. I would put my money on the RAGS, in my opinion it is a more exciting set. The build is much less repetitive and if you like swooshing your ships then it is certainly easier to do with the RAGS. On display I think the RAGS is more impressive than the AT-TE however I suggest building some sort of platform to elevate the gunship or else it just does not look as nice. Fig-wise I would still give the edge to the gunship, Plo Koon is too excellent to pass up, but it really should have had a pilot included.
  3. Very nice, I like it a lot. I am getting Magnaguard starfighter vibes from it. Also, do you have a gallery with all the other letter from your project?
  4. When I first read about your 30 hour project on CABG I could not wait to see it. And you flew past my expectations with ease, that MOC is amazing. My favourite pictures are of the inside where you can see the huge space inside
  5. Most recently when I called parts replacement for a licensed set (Rogue Shadow), they asked me for the serial number on the back on the instructions manual to confirm proof of purchase. That stops all those no-gooders who try to get rare figs without buying the sets.
  6. Most recently this happened while I was building the Rogue Shadow. I could not find the battle damaged Darth Vader helmet for the life of me. I figured it would turn up like these pieces always do, but after I was done the build I still could not find it. I searched the bags, the box and the floor. So I called up partd replacement and ordered a new one. In the meantime I decided to use a standard black head and put the normal Vader helmet on him. As I put the helmet on it would not fit. The lost head was stuck inside the helmet
  7. Yes, I realize piracy is illegal however I did not see a rule against posting links to it, I figured that most people would simply read past it if they did not approve. In the future I will use more caution when posting touchy subjects, as I said before I was just trying to be helpful not offend anyone.
  8. I actually have a entirely different opinion of the game than both of you. I would side with the other reviewers and say that the game is not worth the money. I finished the entire good and evil mission sets in one saturday afternoon, on co-op mode. Most of the levels of take ~15 minutes. The game play was completely unbalanced with archers completely dominating the battlefield. The graphics are similarly unimpressive, with low resolution textures and such it just does not look that pretty. The game is fun for a while but very repetitive, you will find yourself having a lot of fun sometimes and other times wondering how they could make a game so shallow. I recommend playing it but not buying it. !Sorry I did not realized that was not allowed, just trying to help out people save money.!
  9. Good guess but I live in Waterloo where the other Bricks and Blocks is located, at the St. Jacobs outlet mall. I will need to go back there and take some pictures of the things I built while working there, my favourite was a Klingon Bird of Prey but I think James took it apart or if I am lucky got it cleaned so it could be displayed. It was all in white but looked more tan coloured since the bricks were so dirty.
  10. Hello Eurobricks. My name is Sycaris and I live in Southern Ontario where is it very cold at the moment (-18*C) The name Sycaris is one I use for all online identities, so if you see me elsewhere is it probably me. My Lego interests are definitely sci-fi oriented including Star Wars. I am buying the new Clone Wars sets but I am a true fan of the OT sets. Other themes I enjoy would be the castle sets however I have not actually bought any of the them, I just think they are very cool. I have collecting Lego for a large portion of my life from 4-16 and 18-19. I worked at the Canadian Lego retailer Bricks and Blocks for the past 7 months and have enjoyed a entirely Lego related work space. However I recently left Bricks and Blocks to find a job with more suitable hours. You may ask yourself "how could he quit a part time Lego job?" well selling Lego is not nearly as much fun as building it and also it seemed to reduce my desire to build Lego at home. My favourite set is 4483 the original AT-AT walker. Which I display beside my computer. I am not a fan of Bionicle. Here is a picture of the Avatar MOC I made for the raffle. My next WiP is a War of the Worlds themed tri-pod. See you around, Sycaris.
  11. My Avatar moc is based on the episode "Seige of the North Part 2" where Master Pakku bends up a water cyclone and flies around in it. However this one with Uncle Iroh fire bending. Also I tried to do this using an extremely limited selection of pieces, so you can see it it all mostly simple red slopes. Hope you enjoy Full view of the fire twister Close-up of Iroh Here is a reference picture. When moderated Brickshelf Gallery
