REVIEW Castle 7097 - Trolls' Mountain Fortress
Ralph replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great review svelte_corps I love the number of minfigs in the set, along with the number of BURPS as well. Ralph -
Thanks for the good review, the set is not "amazing" on it's own but the alien and the blue windshield will certainly be nice additions to my parts. I think most of the new space sets for me will just be the figs and for new parts. Ralph

Another great review svelte_corps, I love all the great pics you post! This is a must have Indy set, I just hope the "Fez" will show up on as a part at the Lego online store at some point. Ralph

REVIEW: Indiana Jones 7196 Chauchilla Cemetery Battle
Ralph replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks for the greate review svelte_corps! For $20 bucks (US) the price is not bad after seeing what comes in the box. Going to be buying 2-3 of these myself just to get the motorcycle for my city. Nice to have another crystal skull in a lower cost set. Ralph -
Thanks for the "heads up" !

If you have a Walmart or a Target, check the "craft" department the bags are usually near the "scrapbooking" supplies in those stores. How do you sort your LEGO? For general bricks it's all about sorting by color. How do you store your LEGO? Special parts are stored in small parts containers like those found at craft stores for storing beads and things. Figures are stored one to a small ziplock style bag like several others here have pictured. For the bricks I use plastic storage boxes from a place called the container store. http://www.containerstore.com/

I agree with Legoist, the picture looks like it has been adjusted to fit the box. So it may not be as small as it appears, besides with a little work and a few parts it can be made a lot taller. ktranger

New pieces or existing pieces in more colors
Ralph replied to Eilif's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Going with more colors for the current parts available, the current varietiy of parts is fine for me... any more new parts released will cause me to be even more broke then I am now trying to buy those sets they are in. Ralph -
I agree, a modern version of this set would be an excellent addition to the City theme. A longer bus would be great, but I would be happy with just the same bus with diff route or line number. Ralph

Great pictures... only bad thing I see (actually dont see) is there is not "straight" track ... just curves and slopes... I wonder if straight track will be available? Ralph

Indeed, if the flex track is real a whole new world of track geometry is coming! Ralph- 559 replies

True enough, seems many more of the older sets did have doors compared to the current sets. Could always use the older cars for parking code enforcment as they look like about that size. Ralph

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Ralph replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank you for posting Sebastian! I certainly hope it's real, I would suspect to reduce purchase price there will be no track, motor, track, or remote. From the number in could be a "Factory" set, but I suspect more of a online exclusive from S&H. Very curious about the blog found by paksu with part numbers for flex track, remote, and etc... could this mean production runs are underway? Sadly no part numbers for basic curve, straight, or swith points... will the current RC track be used?Which is just as curious and well and leaves me asking the question like others if this is real or not Ralph- 559 replies

Personally to me the Fire Station is a liittle plain on the details of the building, however for your question I would actually buy the Police Station first anyways if you have the funds... particularly with the way the economy is today. Ralph
