  2. Overall this is a nice set, the only thing is that they didn't put enough minfigs in it. I would rat it a 8/10. Good job on the review
  3. Nice entry. There are a lot of original parts to it. THINGS I LIKE 1.I really like the bed, its very creative. 2.The bookshelf is nice. 3.Your skeleton weapon rack looks great. POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS 1. Maybe you could tile the wall. That way it matches the floor. 2.I agree with the others , a slanted door that matches the walls would be great. Good Job and Good Luck.
  4. I totally agree, the tan walls look way better than the old battleship gray walls. Good Job and Good Luck
  5. WOW, you sure do have some big heap of treasure Is there any way you could tell us how many coins you have. WHAT I LIKE 1.THE TREASURE....of course. 2.The women. you sure do have a lot of Princess Leia slave torsos. 3.The tiled floor. POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS 1.Your entry is wayyyy to brown. Maybe you could add some other colors. 2.It seems a little bare in the back, how about adding some furniture. 3.A couple of jealous pirates in the background would look great. 4.Replacing the baby blue handle and the rack thingies on the beer barrel would look better. Good Job and Goog Luck
  6. Good MOC, I love how you made the fishing pole hook out of a hand. Good Job.
  7. If I wasn't so busy trying to collect the older pirate sets i would buy at least 10 of the Lugers, and maybe a couple of those Bar's.

    Canadian Eh?

I love being a Canuck and I love Corner Gas.
  9. What about strawberries...eh?
  10. I am a 6th generation Canadian with a background of 50% Irish decent, 25% French decent and about 25% English/Scottish decent. As long as you know how to poor beer, hold a hockey stick and open a Tim Hortons coffe cup, you can be a Canadian.

Why in the world would I sit in my house in the dark doing NOTHING PEOPLE, NOTHING, WHEN, I could be playing with my Lego or here on EB. You figure out what I did.
  12. What an IMPRESSIVE entry. First I would like to say that you have made an extremely creative entry. WHAT I LIKE 1.The wine rack...........MAN that is nice, it looks very real 2.The table and it's decorations/goodies. It is very detailed looking. 3.The Chair and the desk/drawers looks good. 4.Your Candle stand looks good also. 5.I like the windows a whole lot. POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS There isn't a whole lot that can be improved. 1.The fish on the wall really looks out of place.....big time. 2.The color of the wall doesn't match the room very well. 3.The barrel is a little random for a Generals room. Good Job and Good Luck
  13. I could go on about this Awesome set for ages....honestly. But I won't. Anyway I would love to have it but sadly I won't be able to afford it do to the fact that I will be buying a big bunch of the old pirate sets and the new Star Wars set plus the IJ sets. Good job on the review
  14. I never knew that there was an older MTT, anyway I like the new one better.
  15. When I was about 4 I got a big bucket of bricks. I never really played with them, only when my cousins came over and at that they only came 2-4 times a year. So the bricks were virtually unused. At about age 5 my parents go divorced. At age 6 my Dad got me my first "real" set. Then he started to buy me more sets but I never really played with them, so he gradually stopped buying them for me. As I got older(ages 7-9) all my friends started to get into Lego quite a bit. But I started to hate it. At age 10 I started to like it bit by bit but I am not sure why. When I turned 11 I joined the Lego Club and after discovering Knights Kingdom I decided to ask for some Lego for Christmas. And since then I haven't stopped building/collecting Lego. When it comes to being a 15 year old Lego fan.....its not easy. My 4 best friends are very supportive of my hobby which helps me quite a bit and also Being home schooled helps with the peer pressure. I am a member of my local Army Cadet Core, so with that I have to deal with some snide remarks and dirty looks, but overall everybody at Cadets excepts me for who I am. In my community there is a lot of drugs and drinking among the teenagers and young people so my Mom and Stepdad see Lego as a good thing....keeping me out of trouble and such. My Dad and Stepmom see it as a childish/kidish thing. But other than them, I am supported by my family and friends. I don't openly state that I like Lego but if I see it being verbally trashed I will step up to the plate and stand my ground. When I found EB I was very releaved that There were adults that liked Lego. Anyway I love Lego and I am not going to stop loving it for the rest of my life. Someday I intend to be a Lego designer. Thanks for your support EB members. Broadside
  16. That is the exact way that I am about my passion for lego
  17. A very interesting review. My personal favorite MOC that SlyOwl built was the one in PTV contest.
  18. Ill be waiting for further updates. I'm lucky that I don't have to do exams do to the fact that I am home schooled, but to make up for it the Government tests us. Broadside.
  19. Your ship looks awesome, but I would suggest taking some photos of the hold....I want to see the goodies I agree with the General, the red windows don't exactly look.....good, shall we say. Other than that it looks GREAT.
  20. I would suggest resizing your images to 800x600 , it took me a while to be able to see them. Your ship looks great and I would suggest that you make your avatar off that evil looking general And are those sails made out of kleenex? Broadside.
  21. I am VERY impressed. Good job
  22. I have to do that all the time. Sometimes people make fun of me, but I tell them to shove it. I will share my story later.
