  1. If you look in the upper right corner you can see another copy of car 2. That might support the teory that this is a new set. Einar
  2. Northern Norway stretches far.... To be more specific; I live in Bodø. I would love to set my own trainline. As a kid I had a Märklin layout that was rather large. I still have a small Fleichmann N-gauge packed away in the basement. I really enjoy the new Coast Guard sets. I hope LGC will expand that subtheme further. Perhaps make a fishingboat or something like that. The rest of the City theme also looks very exciting. I applaud every civilian set LGC make. The castle theme is also very nice. I really like the "new" (they are new to me. They weren't around when I was a kid) colours; dark brown, dark green, dark blue and dark red. I find them more vibrant than their "old" counterparts. 3. This sounds very nice! Is it too early in the process to match the same type of buildings from each thread? Agersborg
  4. Hi all. I see Trash has listed me as builder of the outhouse, but I have yet to be assignde to a team. I had a shopping spree after castle sets the last couple of days. So now I feel I have the parts I need to make a decent outhouse. Agersborg
  5. Hi all Eurobrickians. Here is a brief description of me: - Born in the late sixties. - First LEGO-period between early seventies and about 1981. Was a big fan of the now classic space theme. Still have my sets from space theme complete and with instructions. - Father of 4 kids ranging from 5 months to 9 years. - Lives in norther Norway. The stores in my town carries a deceant amount of LEGO, but I miss the oportunity to use S@H. - Started to come out of the dark ages a few years ago. Bought sets for my kids and helped the build them. - Summer 2008 did I at last emerge from my dark ages. - City and Castle are my main ponts of interest. But I'll buy the sets my kids wants even if they are from other themes. But no Bionicle if I can help it! My set list so far has reached 155. That includes about 20 complete sets from my youth. My biggest problem right now is lack of space to display my and my kids sets and MOCs. I hope this gives some answers to who I am. Agersborg
  6. Hi all. I have some concerns and questions about the location of the Garderobe (Toilet). Although the keep should have sanitiary facilities, I doubt the lords and nobles would allow the commoners use them. I think there should be a privét located at the walls also. That will allow for easier transport of the refuse away from the castle. It will also be more historical and architectural correct. The privéts hang on the outside of the walls. This allowed the refuse to drop to the ground and the servants didn't have to carry the refuse down several flights of stairs. With all the possibilties of mishaps that might bring After seeing all the splendid MOC's in the two buildingthreads, I decided to make my own version of a privét/latrine/outhouse. Or as they were called in Oslo early last century; Klaskedass This is my very first castle MOC. And my first real MOC in over 25 years, so bear with me for not being up to date in clever techniques. First pictures shows the overhanging openings and the recess in the outer castle wall. The second picture shows the inside of the wall.
