Bit of both, Darth. It will be a spaceship, but it will make planet landings and float in the ocean to amuse its guests. Kinda like in the Fifth Element, or maybe it'll float just above the water, but it'll be there. Then General Grievous or a Sith associate will blow little tiny inconspicuous holes in it.
-
Not hust that, but my ship will be escorted by a Cadre of StarFighters, B wings, supernova seekers and so on. Still, it will be sunk.

Yarr thanks! Y'know, the whole frame thing, it won't really look like titanic, more like this: With Republic cruiser and Invisible Hand parts thrown in it. And its gonna have like...5 decks including the "boat" deck, which won't have boats. The A and B deck will have about 2 spaces in the aft and from parts in both port and starboard, which will be filled with 2 sorta large escape ships. They're about the size of a CloudCar, but as if the space between the pods were filled, so they'll look sorta like a box with thrusters...8 of them, or 6, depending on how i feel. The bridge will look like the Invisible Hand's bridge, just more prominent towads the top, then right behind it will follow a tube, or something that will look sort of like a chimeney. The interior will be detailed, B deck will have an open port opening with guns and cannons and stuff, and from the top to the bottom there will be a luxurious staircase thing, nicely decorated and stuff, it'll have another one towards the back. Also there will be quarters for all of the passenges riddled all over the ship. The bottom hull will be double layered, and also I'll install some floating thingies (huge bubblewrap? lol) so it can actually float on water, or something they'll be compact, but so on. Also, the whole port hull should open with hinges towards the back...for maximum playability, and filming, and so on...I'll try doing my very best... And I know I ain't starting soon, so expect it to be completed in 2 years. But I'll be starting this summer. So stay tuned for drawings and so on...

That is pretty hard core.

Looks familiar. Its exactly like the Jurassic Park 3 Spinosaur attack plane, of course, with some modifications.

Alright, y'all. Time to break the news. I'm going to build a space cruiser, a luxurious one, yet one that can stand space pirate attacks, and so on...kinda like a Titanic from space with war capabilities. Its going to be minifig scale (And subsequently, filled with minifigs), and its going to be light, yet sturdy, very sturdy. It will also feature the ability to float on a pool, and it will have 4 escape ships tucked on it. Note these are not escape pods, but bigger pod like ships. It will measure 6 or 7 baseplates long (1,75 cm if 7), and it will have a very detailed interior. The colors, will be a little odd due to funds and so on...But...my question is... Where do I get a boxload of lego pieces? Good lego pieces, y'know, like the one the school has to perform physics experiments, and so on? tons of long 10 stud black pieces and so on...Where do I find this stuff?

Meh, hell with the storyline, but I am sure that GregF had something to do with the Mahri's pathetic designs...From awesomeness to tackyness? This cannot be. *vader*
-
Oh nice they should have been done this way in the first place.
-
Very nice. Very nice. Is there an Alt? like the Wasp for the other one?
-
Those are very nice, actually. I wonder if they have Alt constructions...
-
Coz...I was born there, and I never saw any dinos...

Personally, I don't care. Obviously, rising from nothing can be considered a talent here in the US, and that's what drew so many people to her. But its pretty pointless IMO... I fail to see how rising to fame can be considered a talent...or simply being famous being considered as a talent at all...Hard Partier is now considered a career by some little girls nowdays...
-
Thats why its so interesting and takes lots of work.
-
What the hell they're so ugly! Its official. Our Toa-Heroes are now...degenerates. *n* And Hookers, litterally. Hahli's the best looking one... And they all have firing chainguns....that's...so...unbionicle...

I knew this Anna Nicole gal would die young, I mean, the tabloids killed her like what, 1000 times?

Woah nice. Doth he have an alternate build?

Alright y'all. Here's the thing. Every year, the senior at my BELOVED school have to d a culminating project, about anything they want. They choose a mentor, they do the blasted paper, and then the project, which has to be minimum of 25 hours of work, w/o counting the paper. Then we do a 15 minute presentation on what we did. My Mentor, is one of the greatest fossils in Pullman (no pun intended), he's got 50+ years of experience, and is a man I very much admire. I hope to get to his level of discipline some day. Thing is: he does invertebrate Paleontology. I do vertebrate paleontology. But its ok...I ain't complaining. WSU's got a building named after him. Anyways, I chose to do my project on dinosaur reconstructions, which is much like forensic anthropology, but its not, since you're not dealing with humans or apes... My thesis was that, for a species called Noasaurus leali, from Argentina, whose only recovered bones were a metatarsal II, an ungual with a strange claw, maxillia with teeth, a post orbital bone, and an elongated vertebra, one could reconstruct it using bits and parts from other dinosaurs (duh, its how its always done). But for this dino, it isn't easy, as this dino is morphologically unique compared with other..similar-average dinos of the same type. For 20 years since its discovery it wa thought to be convergent with Velociraptor and the likes (the claw, altough shaped differently, unlike a scythe, which is what raptors sport on their 2nd toes), but in 2000, a new dinosaur was found: Masiakasaurus knopfleri, from Madagascar, and it shed light on phylogenetical similarities between the two. Teeth were similar, as were the metatarsals, but Noasaurus' bones were proportioned differently, showing hat even now that it has a new family, it was still a very unique dinosaur. I also argued that this meant that 70 million years ago, southern Africa (including Madagascar), and South America were STILL together within the supercontinent Gondwanaland. And that was its main importance. But here's where the hard part begins: Since Noasaurus is such an unique dinosaur, one can only estimate what it looked like, and perhaps infer parts from other dinosaurs. Nowdays, to reconstruct Noasaurus, one relies heavily on Masiakasaurus's bones (which aren't that many either)... I spent lots of hours doing painstaking research, found a very useful article from 2002 by the discoverers of Masiakasaurus: Osteology of MAsiakasaurus knopfleri...blah blah don't have it next to me, by Carrano, et al, 2002. So I began drawing some...informational sketches. This is what Noasaurus looked like 'till 1999. (after Bonaparte, et al, 1980) This is Velocisaurus, another Argentinian dinosaur also thought to be similar to Noasaurus, but I never aqcuired the paper for it. Reconstruction altered after Lio, Apestegu

TIE Crawler, I must aqcuire, once it arrives.

Yikes he's good!

A "light blocking wall"???Wouldn't that make it a normal wall? :-D Ok, now THAT is bad storytelling. Too many loose ends...Now we got two things goin on at the same time: Nuva looking for Bahrag, and Mahri...Mahri-ing around? |-/
-
I don't like Animes much either...clogging up fricking Deviantart with it, I get no pageviews because of it. Anyways...Ikki o'Moopyville, thanks for that info!!!everything now makes sense, but yet, it brings more questions. What about the Turaga? Are the Rahaga also with them? Keetongu? Takanuva? And did the Inika and the Nuva ever meet?
-
How did Jala and co. get their masks in that Karzahni place or whatever in the first place? In fact, anyone care to tell me the whole Inika saga from the beggining to present? Y'know, after the Matru/Hordika flashbacks?

I digress. Vezon WAS a Gollum ripoff from the minute they concieved him. Greg just furthered it...and furthered it. -
Summer 2007 Bionicle set names!
Dino_Bot replied to Zaktan of the Shadows's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Love is in the air For the Admiral XD j/k, the 3000 toa thing is unrealistic, as I doubt they'll make that many...But, in my opinion, that is the only escape he's ever provided us fans, I mean, he did say "as many as 3000 toa", which leads me to think there can be even more...therefore....our creativity isn't COMPLETELY annulated by him. We can still make millions of Toa and not worry about what is "canon"... Like my Toa, Toa Takiah, Toa of Space. He uses a Nokama body, with silver armor like Norik, and has a Blue Hau Lhikan style (I can paint, that I can). I mean, in the end, Greg F will never take our creativity away, and just because a bunch of losers like it that way (bzp, and videogames, which caused Toys R Us and KBToys and the Toy industry to sink pretty much, due to kids now wanting others to imagine out their stories instead of themselves) doesn't mean everything will change. Yes, he can be blamed for killing the Bionicle story, instead of making it better (WTF is it with the half lightning powers?! that irked me so much, you just CANT combine Stone and Electricity...it...just...doesn't work...they cancel e/a, so then, the Toa would be powerless. ITs either one thing or the other, but not both), especially when he's given such awesome sets to work with (Can't say that for the 2005 Spider thingies...I forget their names even!, or can't say that for the Piraka...I just know he DID have something to do with their creation, he claims false statements when he says he has nothing to do with their design...he influences it now with the past story, designer knows past, then gets his or her creativity thwarted that way)...so yeah...its not so bad XD, but...it could have been better. Greg's inability to keep the 2001 island-y feeling just made Bionicle...not the same. All he did was make us more curious. Which in reality...is what they wanted, but...that ends up being a "so many sets, so little time" scenario...I want him to delve more into the past now that he got us so deeply submerged in it....There's no escape from the past, and I doubt he'll successfully write a future for our heroes. Now see the Mahri with guns and stuff? Greg, I am certain, led the story into those designs, he does influence them, and he's gearing up the Bionicle for WAR! Which...in the end kills Bionicle. So what do we learn? Greg, altough he denies claims of him ever having anything to do with designs, inadvertedly does, as the designers then try to fit the designs between story arcs. But that's just my theory...There's no effect without a cause.
