I think It's not about the quality of the plastic they are made of or the printing, but how "SECOND-HAND" they are . The minifigs have NUMEROUS SMALL CRACKS on the surface and are FAR FROM SHINY as though they were SECOND-HAND ! HOW OUTRAGEOUS!
