Maybe this has already ben answered, but I dont want to go back in discussion... Am I allowed to enter a model made on Lego Factory as I have limited pieces. Very limited...
-
How much are they? Would you pay cash for the glatorians, and if so, how much?
-
,But body...not so great. I see you left that fun fact out...
-
Yoa are right, another look confirms that they are green... I personally like this one better. The front is a little longer which I like, and I like when lego uses studded peices instead of smooth ones because it look more like lego, but that is my personal opinion....
-
BZP had to start somewhere too. I cant tell, are you on our side? Take the offer VBBN .
-
Well the organization, and stuff like that is way better. Once we have 5m posts we will be laughing at BZP!!
-
Brickform module is way better! Go there instead of BZP!!!!

Mindstorms 2.0!
matanui911 replied to Tim Bit's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The ultrasonic sensor (eyes) look kinda chubby, and weird... Other than that, I see no difference....... -
I'm no moc expert, but to me the top looks a little plain, is there anything you could do to it? besides that, it is better than anything I could do .
-
The set does come with blue stickers, but I happend to pass them by when making the review .
-
Personally I don't because it makes his arms look short, and it takes away some nice articulation because the head is in the way.....
-
Yea, Ill see whats wrong...

The mighty Toa of Light, Takanuva, returns! I got this wonderful set for Christmas, and I love it! The massive size of him is so great, and he is very similar, but yet very different from his original nuva version. I decided to review this set because I wanted everyone on Eurobricks to know what a great figure this is! this is my first review, so bear with me it won't be that bad . Name: Takanuva 8699 Theme: Bionicle Team: Mistika Toa Year: 2008 Pieces: 267 Price: USD $30 Picture of Box for Reference New Pieces for 2008 From left to right, top first, the first new piece is Lewa Phantoka's sword. I like it because it is a very nicely designed piece with a lot of detail. Next up is Onua Mistika's shield, and this piece is very neat looking, because it looks like some type of a futuristic shield piece. Up next is the Phantoka's skyblaster and its ammo. It has a nice shooting distance, almost equal to a zamor sphere launcher, and it is a bit bulky, but it looks very nice on Takanuva because he is so large. The piece next to the skyblaster ammo is not an Inika claw. It is actually a new claw used in the Mistika series. Starting on the bottom, the first piece is a piece used to hold Pohatu Phantoka's propellors. The piece after that one is a new matoran limb, used on almost, and if not all 2008 matoran. The last piece is obviously his mask, which I will talk about later. In Build Pictures Random Instruction Book Page Torso His torso is very thin, and not that that is a bad thing, because it makes it look pretty cool. He uses Onua Mistika's shield as a chestpeice, and an Inika white foot below that, and all in all, a very nice torso. Back The back looks very nice. The matoran limbs give it its nice shape. The pieces connected to the arms and legs make a great addition, because they help keep the arms and legs where you leave them, so the arms don't drift down when posing, and all other situations like that. Legs The legs look great, but are not my personal favorite, because on the sides they use the old exo-toa style pieces, which in my opinion are not the greatest look. There is also an open space in the bottom half that was left uncovered caused because he is so big, and they had to use few pieces in few places, which means you will have gaps. Also the hordika foot will move, because it is only connected with one piece, which doesn't really matter anyway. The spike type things at his knee are great. The spike-type things at his knee are great, because they give him a very menacing look. I also like the use of Pohatu Phantoka's turbines on the upper half of the leg. Overall, not my favorite leg, but it all adds to the massive size of Takanuva, which is great! Arms Overall, nice arms. They support the weight of his weapon, and skyblaster nicely, and unlike any other 2008 sets, the Inika leg looks good as an arm, because it is a nice big piece that looks great on this big figure. The one thing that kinda annoys me when posing him, is that his claws don't close all the way. Another weird thing about him is that he uses Takadox's mask for his shoulder. It does cover up some pieces that are underneath the mask that don't look that good. It also gives the upper arm and shoulder its nice shape. As long as you are not looking down at it, it looks fine..... Weapon All in all, I love this weapon. It is nice and big, and it gives Takanuva a very powerful look. It does spin in his hand, which I kinda like. It gives it that playability that any action figure needs The way that it has three prongs definitely catches my attention. It would not look as nice if it only had one weapon attached to it. The only downside to the weapon is that it uses Lewa Phantoka's weapon. It still looks great because there are three, but I would have liked him better if he had his own weapon mold..... Mask This mask has more of the organic feel than his original mask, and other 2008 masks. The mask gives him a serious look that makes him look great! I love this mask! This is the mask compared to his old mask. Compared to the other Mistika/Phantoka Toa masks, this one looks very similar to its original look. It is slightly bigger than a normal mask to compensate for his large size. Compared to his old mask, the only difference is that is is more form fitting, and it has a darker look to it because of the slanting of the eye-slits. Finished Product This guy is huge! He is much bigger than his nuva version, and even still bigger than any $20 set out now. The limbs are all comparable in proportion for an imposing figure like this, and to be able to support the weight of his weapons. His weapon is nice and big, adding to the powerful look, and I love how the kept his mask very similar to his original mask, and how pieces in the back support his limbs. That is a nice feature being added to many bionicle titans. All in all, he is one very nice looking set! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Parts: 8/10 (Some new pieces, but it includes the Exo-Toa pieces I ranted about earlier) Price per part: 9/10 (Bionicle trying to get the price as high as possible...) Playability: 9/10 (Good articulation and weight) Color: 7/10 (Too much white.) Overall: 82.5% I thought it deserved more than that. It is still a great set and I would recommend it to anyone. It is a must get from the 2008 saga. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Some of My Attempts at Being Comical Takanuva uses his powers of light to turn on my flash....Dang it, it woulda been such a nice picture!! Hey Takanuva....., that is sooo 6 years ago..... Matanui911 signing off till next time.

Hey, its matanui911 again here with my second review. This time I will be reviewing Chirox from the Phantaka series. I also got this one for christmas from my friend, and it is a great set. In the story Chirox is a scientist, and he barely appears in any of the comics (books I don't know about). So this is the time that I will give Chirox, the overlooked character, the spotlight! Here he is! Set name: Chirox Number: 8693 Pieces: 49 Price: $12.99 USD, 8.99 GBP, and 12.99 EUR Team: Makuta Series: Phantoka Picture of Box for Reference New Pieces for 2008 From left to right top first, The first piece is the new torso for all winter series Makuta The piece next to the mask is Chirox's unique weapon. Next is the Shadow Leeches and the Tridax pod. The Tridax pod will go inside the Makuta's chest, and when dropped the shadow leeches will drop out of it. The next piece is a wing used in the Phantoka and Mistika series Starting on the bottom, The first piece is a Makuta's ribcage used to hold a Tridax pod. The piece next to that is the mask which I will talk about later. The piece next to it is not a Piraka foot, but rather a new foot introduced for the Phantoka series. It only has two toes rather than three. In Build Pictures Torso This torso is new for 2008, and is used on all winter series Makuta. To make it look more full they add a Metru chest piece right above to where the legs connect. You cant see it on this picture, but most of the time, the piece where the head attaches is crooked. That piece will move side to side freely, which is really annoying. Now to get to that cool tridax pod! The Tridax pod is enclosed in a nice looking ribcage, and can be released by pressing the silver button on the Chirox's back. It will always crack open and release the shadow leeches if you do it over a hard surface, but unless you do it real high over a carpet, it will not break open over half the time. Once the tridax pod is released the torso looks kinda empty though... Legs The legs look great in this set. The re-introduction of the Hordika legs makes Chirox look great. The plates on his upper leg look better than any other plate that you could of put on him. The only problem that I have with the legs is that the new feet are terribly unstable and unposable. Other than that, fantastic legs! Arms The top picture is the inside of the arm ,and the bottom picture is of the outside. Some people don't like the fact that he has two elbows, but I think that makes him unique, and makes him look great. Another thing that I have heard is that people don't like that the wings are attached to the arms, so they are MOCing them. Personally I think that they look really great on the arms instead of on the back of the figure. The only rant that I have on the arms is that they don't use the normal hand piece. Rather, they use this piece, which I think looks a little abnormal... Weapon I like how this weapon looks. It is unique because it is held more like a gun. I can't explain it, but I just love Chirox's weapon... Mask These Makuta masks are unlike any that we have seen before. They are so different, and sinister looking that it almost starts to actually make the bad guys look scary! The two teeth looking thinks coming out of his jaw kinda remind mr of a vampire, which fits into the theme, because they are supposed to resemble bats. The mask extends far back. Finished Product ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Parts: 9/10 (The feet were meh but all other parts were a big thumbs up!) Price per part: 9/10 (Its a Bionicle people...) Playability: 9/10 (Tridax pod is great!) Color: 8/10 (Its black......, and silver.... They could have thought into it a little more) Overall: 87.5% Not a bad rating. Overall this is a great figure. The tridax pod is a great addition, which is unique to most of the previous series' "guns". The re-introduction of the Hordika legs give him a great look, and his double elbowed arms give him the uniqueness that he needed. His sinister mask and his new wings all add to the batty look of this character. Apart from the weird looking hands, and unposable feet, this is a great character! see you guys next review!!! Police was an original Lego theme since the beginning, and as the years went on they never seemed to stop making better police products. This police car is a jewel compared to any other police cars before it! Well here it is, set 7236! Name: Police Car Set Number: 7236 Theme: City Sub-Theme: Police Pieces: 61 Year: 2005 Minifigures: One Price: 5.99 USD/ 6.99 EUR/ 3.89 GBP Box and Instructions Parts It's a pretty nice assortment of pieces for a small set like this one. You can see that the bottom of the police car actually uses one pre-made piece as most new sets will have. Minifigure He is a normal policeman with a basic smiling face. His shirt is printed very nice. It has a nice badge, and pockets. Too bad that he doesn't have a belt or something on his lower half. He has no print on his back, so I wont show it. He also includes a radio, and I love his gun. Oh wait, he doesn't have a gun. Police don't have guns, silly! The Build It is a pretty nice build for such a small set. Instead of using large, chunky pieces, they use some smooth, small, or flat pieces which makes it more likable compared to other police cars I have seen. Here is the building in progress. As you can see a pre-made bottom is used as like most newer sets. Finished Product And that's it. Its just that simple, and it looks great! The build of the vehicle gives it it's masterful look. The smoothness and realism of the front grill and the back (pictured below) give it a very nice look, and the use of the rims is great. I love how the front of the car is a little long. Its kinda cool! It is nice that they give the lights on top some actual shape rather than just sticking two transparent pieces on top. That looks really nice. I don't like how the stickers were used, as you can see that mine are peeling... Front: Back: I like how the front and back use the triangular pieces for the lights instead of the normal circular pieces that were mainly used at the time. Here are some more pictures of the finished product: A nice side view to see the cool big wheels, and the long front is great! I dont get what the antenna things are supposed to be...maybe for a radio or something, and as I said before, I don't like the use of the stickers, because they peel, and it looks weird. And a nice picture with the car, the minifigure and his radar gun. The radar gun is pretty basic, and If you were to look at a picture of a real radar gun, it would look almost nothing like this lego radar gun. A real radar gun actually looks like a gun, unlike this lego radar gun. Summary Presentation: 10/10 (One of the nicest police cars that I have seen) Pieces: 10/10 (I love the use of the small pieces) Minifigs: 6.5/10 (Its just another basic gunless city policeman) Playability: 9/10 (Many scenarios can be made with the radar gun and this fantastic car) Price: 8/10 (Just a little steep) Overall Rating: 87% A very nice looking car. The small and flat pieces give it its superb shape, and the elongated front of the hood makes it look like a car I would get any day! The radar gun does look a little strange, and unlike a real radar gun, but I will never use it anyway, so it doesn't even matter. After the release of this product they released similar products into such sets as the headquarters, which I love just the same. The minifigure's fantastically printed shirt gives him a very modern and cool feel. The fact that of the police minifigures never have guns is just a fact we just get used to.... Well enough talk, lets finish this third review, and get out of this reviewers academy, and into the world! Matanui911 signing off till next time. Brickshelf, Peeron, Lego S@H

Agreed, he is a very unique character, but it just didn't feel bionicle to me.
-
Well, krika was kinda meh. Not a variety of peices, and he only looked large because of his odd legs. Personal opinion... Yes agreed, although I liked 3d Brickthing's story, It probably would not have worked as well as a more war based scenario.

Did anybody notice that on wal-mart.com they mis-named gresh vastus? See it here
