Hello everyone. I'm a new member and a longtime fan since my yellow castle days (set 6075 - hope that doesn't date me) and have recently gotten back into the wonderful world of Lego with my young sons.
With the recent Black Friday shopping deals here in the U.S. I have had the opprtunity to get some good deals and bought the 7094 King's Castle Siege , SW Imperial Star Destroyer, SW Federation MTT, 7037 Tower Raid, 7038 Troll Assault Wagon, AquaRaiders II 7772 Lobster Strike, AquaRaiders II 7774 Crab Crusher, Agent 8630 Mission 3: Gold Hunt, Spongebob 3831 Rocket Ride, 7737 Coast Guard 4WD & Jet Scooter, Pirates 6239 Cannon Battle and Pirates 6240 Kraken Attackin'. Whew! Overboard? Probably. Thankful I can say I'm getting them for my sons? Absolutely. Aah, the little scapegoats are a wonderful thing to blame the new addiction on. Besides, I'll have to spread them out over the next year to keep from spoiling them. ;)
I must say I'm really impressed with all the new themes and really like the new Castle, Pirates, Agents and Star Wars sets. They are totally addicting! Good thing there was sales on everything or I might feel guilty. The only thing I miss a little is seeing an older style space set. I just can't get into the Mars Mission sets. Here's looking forward to the 2009 sets.
Anyway, I look forward to all the LEGO goodness here with everyone.
