I really admire some users for creating excellent, detailed MOCs like this I've made semi-decent MOCs in my times, but never ones this creative And I feel bad with that pirate with his innards being eaten by the crocodile...

I say Lego should stick to creating actual Lego sets and not produce these crappy toys. But, I think elves will be next year. They're focusing on the trolls/orcs right now, it looks like. It was the skellies/knights, now the trolls/orcs/dwarves faction, so maybe next year it'll be elves/(new enemy).

My first ever Lego set . Darth Maul was ALWAYS my favorite character from Ep. I. I loved his minifig; I carried it around with me EVERYWHERE. I never built the moisture vaporater thing, I had no clue what the heck it was for. Sadly, I've lost everything of this set in time, except Qui Gon. I still have him. Grand set. Nice review!

I'm really impressed by the Temple, the Ambush, the Boat Chase, and I have no interest in the Cemetery battle or whatever, but I have to say, my most anticipated set, the Fighter Plane Attack, really disappoints. Very blocky, no color, very...bleh. Although, Elsa looks great, and so does Willie, Shorty, and better yet, Khazim! Mola Ram, from what I can see, looks accurate; the Thugees look nice, as does the Cairo swordsman, and again, I have no interest in the Cemetery one.

I'm SO sorry if this is the wrong place, but I just found this! Edit by Hinckley: This pic has already been removed from our site at the request of TLG Looks like we have Palpatine and Senate Commandos!!! :cry_happy: oooops... Now I feel like a complete idiot.

Cool army, but I'm going to be frank: that kid needs a life.

I'd love to see Padme's starship from the opening sequence of Ep. II. Minifigs would by Cap'n Tyko, Padme Decoy and Padme with two Naboo officers, and of course R2. Comes with ship and small landing platform with a few little machinery items to blow up. If we were really dreaming, we would have two Naboo fighters included.... Also, a Geonosis battle arena wouldn't be too bad. Anakin, Obi, Padme, Mace, Dooku, Viceroy Gunray, Jango Fett, a few Geonosians, and a few generic Jedi. Comes with arena, Aklay, Reek, and Nexu monsters, collapsing pillars, and destructible viewer's box. And finally Palpatine's Arrest, which we should be getting.... Mace, Palp, Kit, Seasee Tinn, Agen Kolar, and Anakin, with Palpatine's office and shattering window.

Introducing: The ACES!
Duke of Derby-shire replied to Dark Sword Ragnarok's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Those are awesome. Nice job on the weapons especially. -
Batman's not my favorite, but this looks pretty good.

Interesting. I like it. You think TLC could make a Maul head like this in the future? They've been making Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, that Shak-Ti looking girl from The Clone Wars, so maybe this wouldn't be so bad...

Sweet mother of all that is good and pure. Fantastic.

Brilliant! Smashing brilliant article, Brickster! That was pure quality at its finest.

Great job. Nice review, and it is tearing me apart that I have YET to get a KotCS Lego set. This makes my mouth water even more!!!...

That has to be one of the best MOC trucks I've seen in all my lurking days. The only thing I would add is a bit more.. well, I was going to say blue, but now that I look at it, that gray fits Freeze just as well.

Holy.... whatever you want to say, that Batcave is SWEET!!

REVIEWS: 8396 Soldier's Arsenal & 8397 Pirate Survival
Duke of Derby-shire replied to NewRight's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well done! Wonderful sets. The Imperials are outstanding. Great fish pieces too. -
Awesome job Dan.

I bet this has been said before, but I'd love a bank scene, with Batman, Penguin, Bank Manager, two or three robot penguins, and two or three Gothom Police officers. And I'd love Lego to branch out a bit and have a small battle pack of Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, Flash, and Aquaman vs. Lex Luther, Joker, and other various archenemies.

Thanks, Guss! I like your avatar. And that's an incredible pic, although I'm no good at the UCS edition sets. I've always wanted to try one, though.. Still, it looks great! Thanks, Guss. And Bonaparte, I must say, that was the name I was thinking of when I said how passionate the Pirate forums are. I just couldn't think of it . But thanks for the welcome as well!

Hopefully. There might be actually a good possibility. Just keep your eyes open for news!

CCCVI Haunted Castle: The Haunted Ballroom
Duke of Derby-shire replied to mrts's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Holy ____(insert curse word or interjection here.)_____!!!! That's just.. outstandingly fantastically amazingly wonderful. Great show figs, details, and the ballroom itself, a masterpiece. Keep it up! -
Wow. Detailed. And I like the colors, very nice! Good show.

Endor is all I care about. EWOKS!!! :cry_happy: And the others, meh, they're okay. Although do we really need an Echo Base? If they'd done it right the first time...

Those are great. VENICE CHASE!!! I can already see those speedboats..... wow. Second is the Plane Chase; hopefully we'll get the dogfighter, and another Henry Sr., perhaps? Mutt Chase, eh. I wish they'd focus more on the classic movies. The new one was great but their sets don't hold a candle to the others. TOD - If they can do it right, it'll be outstanding. As for the Ambush in Cairo, I pray they will include Sallah. Oh, and to the above post: full of gratuitous violence, eh? Ever seen your avatar? - The Duke of Derby-shire.
