  1. Indeed! Also, something else
  2. Mainly to clarify things: 1. The storyline has always been based on the sets. That part has changed once
  3. Although I wish Vladek's Dark Fortress came with a baseplate of some degree to make it more stable, I'd still rank it higher, although I'm biased because I only have one of them. I do think the KK2.3 armor in the Royal King's Castle looks out of place, though, and the mountainous baseplate makes it less structurally realistic than Vladek's ... Plus, staging a battle is a bit hard with only one faction in the set. Unless there are traitors.
  4. Pardon my ignorance, not having been here for a while, but when has BZP ever "trashed" (whatever you're using that to mean) Eurobricks? I know we've referenced this site several times in the news. And we certainly don't "trash" Amazon.de – when a picture shows up there, it's considered official, because Lego has approved its release. Otherwise, unless it comes from a similar source, it's probably leaked, and because Lego does not want images leaked early, BZP does not allow them to be posted. Since BZP prefers to maintain a good relationship with Lego. Also, the information Greg has been giving out lately is anything but tiny. Small bits at a time, yes, but often huge in implications. And also, don't small bits of plot build anticipation much better than suddenly revealing the entire story? And finally, Greg had no choice but to put the Nuva away for the year – they aren't sets, so they can't be shown in the comics, which means they can't be the center of the plot. Back on topic, the Barraki contain comparatively few new parts. Structurally, their only new pieces are their heads, but all the other pieces (double-sockets, limbs, bodies) are old – For instance, Mantax's body is a Piraka's and his shins are Rahkshi's, Ehlek has Zaktan's feet, Carapar uses Inika shins in his arms and Rahkshi feet, Mantax has Vahki shins, and Takadox uses Piraka forearms, shins, and feet. Ehlek's entire frame is made of old pieces, too, with the possible exception of his shins, which I think are Metru shins but I can't see clearly. Not that I mind – re-use of old pieces is excellent. In contrast, however, almost everything adorning the frame is new. There are at least two new types of thigh-armor-type pieces, demonstrated on Morak and Thulox, who make use of them. The weapons are wholly new designs, as are their mandibles and heads, and Mantax has quite the shoulder armor. I can't see much of Carapar's construction, but it seems to have some new pieces. Takadox also seems to have transparent joints like Toa Matoro did, and Carapar is quite clearly brown. Yay! Edit: Oh, look, there's Pridak. I can't even see his head ... – ToM
  5. No, it can't be Hewkii
  6. If it isn't Toa Jaller, I don't know who it would be... With this first, small, blurry pic (that for all we know might not even be the final version), I can't make much judgement, but my first impression is negative... Hope he looks better up close.
  7. Well, Onepu isn't becoming a Toa
