Wow this is your first car MOC, its beautiful! nice proportions, the colours look great, and the details are just spot on. Dont stop MOCing
-
I actually like the rear view mirors, very clever. I think the front needs the most attention... it kind of looks too high, other than that it looks very promising

Thanks for the great review, I noticed there was no review of this set and was considering making a review myself - No need to now. Well taken pics by the way. My only gripe with this set and other cars Lego has brought out recently is the wheels. What is the deal with the huge wheels? They are same size as the wheels used for trucks. With so much choice available with wheels these days why do they insist on having such large wheels? What about the wheels used in the racer sets, they're a great alternative. I know these are not meant to be spot on realistic, but gee when was the last time you saw a car with truck-sized wheels plotting along? I just dont get it

How did you find this out? I went on the website and didnt see any catalogue with Lego discounts. Check out the BigW prices, cheaper than anywhere else. BigW See if you can spot the mistake!!! (look at the star wars sets) -
Awesome Piano, especially with the limitations of LDD! I especially like how you did the keys - Very clever
-
Awesome! I read and watched the whole thing with eagerness, every good story has some twists and turns. Poor poor Jane...
-
Love it very clever! mmmm smoothy
-
You could also try these wheels if they're still available in LDD link Im sure you can make some simple mods to accomodate larger wheels, but the overall shape of bus looks nice

I think you've placed the wrong link by mistake, The link provided is for a 'vintage computing' site

You can count your lucky stars guys because down here in Australia our shipping costs at S@H are far worse than anywhere else. I have NEVER seen any sort of promotion with 'free' shipping, weather we spend $100, or $1000 it doesnt matter. I wish they would offer an equivalent promotion in Australia, even if it was 'free shipping' for purchases say over $200AUD. Consider this: For a $25AUD order we have to pay $25 postage (18 business days) or $60 for express (8 business days)!!! For purchases over $250AUD we have to pay $45AUD or $100 for express Aussie Shipping - see link Im not one to complain and I love my Lego but I would love to know how TLG can justify such shipping rates. There are some great offers on the Australian S@H at the moment but as it stands with the high cost of shipping, I still cant justify buying anything from S@H. Shame really.

Nice work Teddy! I love the design and colours, all works very well together.

Cool, nice layout, I also like what you did with the Fire station. You have alot of sets and road tiles... and the space to lay it all out! I also recommend getting Green Grocer and Cafe Corner, well worth the money. I only have Green Grocer at the moment but cant wait to get Cafe Corner.

Well I guess if this is what Lego has to do to keep afloat and maintain a high quality standard, Im happy to support them, if it means paying a little extra then so be it. Probably means that I buy less sets though.

Wow, what a beautiful MOC. Very clever use of the brown/maroon bricks, gives it a very realistic brick look. Your MOCs are amazing, Id love to see a town layout or a scene with a few of your creations. By the way, how do you source your lego pieces for such creations? Is it primarily from your existing supply of bricks or do you bulk order the specific pieces from Bricklink or S@H?
