Thinking about collecting those planet sets while they're still in stores (possible collector's items?)

Got a LSW Tri Fighter droid (7252, the original) NIB for $20 on eBay. Now I have the full collection! (ARC-170, Anakin's Starfighter, V-wing; again the originals not the cheesy Clone Wars re-runs) I wonder if it's worth anything as a full collection....

Hello everyone! I thought it would be worth joining a forum like this, and finally connect with some fellow LEGO fans. As far as collections go, I still have most of my sets from younger years (Star Wars, soccer, the OLD racers :3 ) but recently I've found an interest in TECHNIC, and right now I'm looking for ways to afford those feverishly expensive parts. I look forward to being active in this community, and possibly start some cool MOCs to show you guys! -Apple

I've never been a huge fan of Lambos, but man does that black Countach look sharp! I so with I had some money laying around to tinker with those models. It boggles me everyday why LEGO is so stingy with TECHNIC parts.
