  1. Thanks everyone for the comments. i must say i love that wine cellar jimButcher it really is a cool compact moc. I cant wait to see what you can do with it if it can be expanded!
  2. As Thrash noted in the main thread he and I came together to tackle the Church/Monastary. I had the idea to combine the two creations into a larger church. To make it a little less boring Thrash and I thought it would be pretty cool to make it a temple church, housing the renowned Knigth's Templar! Here's what we came up with it.... Here is a shot of the Outside wall: Inside the priest leads mass for many of the town citizens: Meanwhile just through the door sits a tomb for a fallen knight: Why is a Templar guarding the tomb? Well the tomb is really just filled with some of the Templar's treasure: Upstairs a couple Knights go about their day as usual, counting money and torturing orcs are all in a days work. If you look closely you'll see the Templar Seal on the floor: Here is the whole structure with the back wall removed: From Left to right we have; The Priest, The Tomb, The Three Templar Knights, and our Orc Prisoner Hope you enjoy! let me know what you guys and gals think.
  3. Im definately in....
  4. I agree with thrash on that last note. It would definitely look cool to have a little walkway on the keep. I think that it also keeps it so that everything is still built by some guidelines. Which is better than having the inner buildings almost be a free for all
  5. That MOC looks awesome ISC. I had no idea what you were going to do for it when you first said you wanted to make it. But geez you nailed it. I love how the Guard on the wall is using the oil to prepare for its defense. Another great addition!!!!
  6. Hello I've always been a fan of LEGO, mainly because i am often around thrash ,therefore i am often building with them. I mainly joined to participate in the Community Castle Build but i really like the setup of this site and may branch out from just the one topic.
  7. Guss i like your MOC a lot. It fits perfectly!!! I must say my favorite thing is the banner over the doorway, although its a tiny detail it really takes the MOC from good to AMAZING!!!!!
  8. Looks great Erdbeereis1, I love the roll on the outside as a sign! a terrific addition to our build
  9. Your fighting arena is amazing. I love the detail of the battle. I cant wait to see what everyone else is coming up with. This is turning out awesome!!!
  10. Just to clear things up as a lot of people have been making this mistake. I created the Mason not Thrash. We just posted them all together. But the reason I chose marble was because although its true it was not used as much for actual building. It was still highly used in statue's and art pieces.
  11. Ok guys, So me and thrash were talking and we were finding it to be rather cumbersome to try and go from page to page trying to find the creations that have been made so far. So we decided to bring it all together with a webpage that I made. It is by no means finalized but i thought it would be a easy way to see whats been done and what still needs to be done. Just check it out. If you like the idea I can keep updating it and possibly upgrading it a little. If not then no loss... The site is at EBCCB Site Let me know your guys thougts. ...Also on another note, its currently set up where if there are more than one MOC for a category both can be displayed, so just because the name is present doesn't mean its final!
  12. So I posted my Masons guild in the Alpha Build section. Check it out and let me know what you think Masons Guild
  13. So this weekend i decided i was going to take my first shot at the Mason's Guild. I took it to pretty much be a Stone Cutter sort of thing, So let me know what you guys think of it. These are the characters... The right is the Master Mason holding his chisel while the left is his apprentice holding a small slab of marble..... We'll start with the back view with the outside wall. (Thanks to Thrash for the wall design) OK so this is the Front with the roof attached to it. I decided to go with a non black roof with a little bit of texture to it. Also note the two marble columns with a somewhat statue-esque piece topping both of them. Here is the front with the roof detached. Key things to note are that I made my Master Mason be in the middle of the creating a marble statue and if you look on the wall I attempted to include the circle inscribed in the pyramid (Common Masonic Symbol) This final picture is simply the top view. You can see the Mason creating his statue. You can also see the apprentice getting ready to begin work on a small slab of marble. Also you can see an extra slab of marble being stored. Let me know what you guys think. Here's the link for when the folder becomes public Brickshelf Album
  14. Not to question anything that has already been done.... but what exactly is the point of splitting up into two groups? It seems as though everyone builds what they want until its all done, then we just vote on the best MOC for each category. So where do the two seperate teams come into play? I think it may be easier for you (I Scream Clone) if we abadon the groups and everyone then just deal with this one thread rather than the three. Just a suggestion Also I agree with your wall proposal I Scream Clone, I think we need to set well defined sizes and your suggestion seems to make the most sense ~Stol
  15. I agree with this. When i think of classic tavern i feel like there are always extra rooms whether it be for an Inn or brothel doesnt matter
  16. In that case i'll take the Mason's guild, monastary, and chapel since their all on the same strip If thats too much to take i can do one or two of them
  17. Hey guys, I'm really not picky... I'll take whatever is left over
  18. I really like the idea of adding a library/archive.... also im interested in joining the build
  19. I voted for thrash. I think his idea makes the most sense for what were trying to do. It makes splitting up tasks easy. More importantly though everyone can build off the size requirement so it will all work together but can still put their own flair and creativity into it.
