  1. It's always good to see classic sets revisited and reimagined for a modern audience.
  2. It is great to be able to incorporate futuristic ideas into what are effectively time static environments such as a Lego Town. The pics are fantastic by the way, especially the plane and transporter.
  3. I find the right music helps along with as few distractions as possible. A quick trawl through the billions of images on t'internet or in reference books related to what you are building also helps to kickstart the creative process. Often I keep a pen and paper handy to jot down any ideas I have while watching TV or while surfing the net, so I can quickly jot down an outline of whatever project I am involved in.
  4. Some of the negative reactions were funny, but also showed how precious people can be and how much they truly believe in the power of a name and their nationality.
  5. Definitely a good start for a small city. Adding in the extras like trees, benches, footpath detail will enhance the look and feel and give you a very decent layout.
  6. Great piece of work, the authentic detailing is superb and very well thought out.
  7. 'Owdo to all. As an AFOL who has been around for a few decades I find LEGO provides a great escape from the inanities of life. It is great to see so many people embrace the brick and that there is so much variety out there in MOC world, especially the inventiveness of builders with alternative build techniques and fresh takes on exisiting official LEGO sets. Long live the brick!
