I see where your coming from and, even though I think you may be right I PRAY that your wrong. Lego Dino is quite possibly one of the best "new" themes. Obviously licences will always do better and last longer but the original builds on Dino are awesome. I'm really going to try and add the rest of the sets into my collection

It's back. The Hulk is back. According to the UK Lego Shop the Hulk promo figure is again available, but this time with an order of only £25! Maybe this is to help the late release of the Spiderman Set I got the fig last time round but I'm tempted all the same

I wouldnt put too much stock in that, as technically Dino wasnt supposed to be released until around this time. Because ALOT of leaked photos got out they pushed forward the release date. The webpage on the lego sites not even finished yet. I'm pretty sure we'll get at least one more wave out of Dino. But with Monster Hunters, Super Heroes, Lord of the Rings and yet more Star Wars (which i love ofcourse but still think theres a lil too much) that we may have to wait until third quarter for it to get here. Because of molds and such i dont think we'll see a huge list of new dinsaurs though. Probably re-colours of the ones we've got (I'm certain we'll see another Raptor) but we might get one or two. My fervent prayer is we get a new carnovore (my moneys on carnotaurus, as most people/kids have prob seen terra nova and disneys Dinosaur) but it could easily be spinosaurus (though i prey its not) and a new herbivore (ankylosaurus would be cool but a sauropod would be better IMO)

Second wave... Enter the HUNTERS! So far the lego site has confinually called these guys the "Hero" minifigures, well perhaps this is hinting at there being another class. I propose Hunters. Big game hunters after the massive trophies the new dinos could provide. Lego could recycle the gun (putting a teloscope in place of the syringe) and the hunt vehicles could have a different main colour to separate them. Dino Lab - biggest set in wave to, part of the hero line that can be combined with the Defence HQ, 2x Gallimius (same size as PoP ostrich) and new coloured Raptor? Hunter command truck - massive truck/capture vehicle, similar to the power miners massive base vehicle, Carnotaur (mid sized dino, dark brown) Hunter hovercraft - small set, Parasaur (using raptor body with new head and leg molds) and some swamp scenery Origins Box - a set explaining how the Dino's got to our time, aswell as both hunters and heroes mini vehicles and a big dino, Triceratops or T-rex Campsite Chaos - mid sized set, tent, campfire, food and forest. 3x Troodon/Compys (one piece hard rubber, size of minifig chickens)

I wanted to ask if anyone can confirm for me if this theme is coming out in December 2011 or January 2012? I've heard both from different sources. Can anyone help?

Does anyone out there have any idea if there is a backstory to go with the theme? In the background of the Box Art I can see a city, as well as electrified fences surrounding some of the jungle. Very interested to learn more.

Wish list for 2009, Would have to include a smaller, clone wars era Tantive IV with the full blue scheme. Including Bail Organa, 2 Alderaan Guards, Captain Antillies and a small version of Bails speeder that can be stored in the hold of the ship. Also, Clone Shuttle with 2 Recon clone troopers a re-release of the AT-RT, smaller and better in scale with the new AT-TE a Republic Y-wing fighter w/Ashoka and Anakin (plus new "Goldie" Astromech) with a blue Vulture droid or two for it to duel against. A Strong Confederacy spaceship. not really sure what kind but the republic have alot and the balence needs addressing. Something the size of the Rogue Shadow, with a few Pilot battle droids and a Nemoiudian Captain. Maybe even Gunray...
