  1. I'm getting Hagrid's Hut just for Hermione. Wait a second! I'll do it on Bricklink and get an army of Hermiones!
  2. Um, all your links after New Style of Flame lead to the flame piece. I'm not interested in the whole Cloud City set, but Boba Fett and what you have of Lando...
  3. Great review Starstreak! This set is outstanding in my opinion. The model looks quite accurate and the parts are quite useful if broken up! If this goes on sale like the MF, I'll get a couple of them!
  4. This is the first EB News I have read. I don't know why I didn't read the others, because this is great! As said before it is always nice hearing more about other members, and the way this was set out with all the funny pictures made it even better! I look forward to the next edition!
  5. Happy Birthday! Have a great day!
  6. That would be such a good combo if we all hadn't purchased two of the sets already! Meh, those older sets are like BPs so it doesn't matter I guess. Do you know the retail price Kim?
  7. Oh shucks. This event is right when I should be busy revising for GCSEs! Looks like I won't be able to meet you all... *cries in corner*
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks! Nice first MOC. The details and the layout of the shrubs are good too! It took me a minute to spot that native in the background!
  9. Parents permitting, I may attend! Atlast, you all are coming to the UK!
  10. And a lucky few of us got them! High fives to all who did so! Kidding! My suspicions are this was a system error. I think LEGO recalled them; that's why it says they are out of stock now.
  11. Hot-dayum, that's one beast of a MOC! Very well done Anio! I really admire how you stuck to the principles you set before you started and how you made the set so similar to what TLG would! That must have been the hardest bit; the limiting of parts and using other techniques! The greebles are fantastic and the sheer amount of them just makes me cry with joy! So all in all, a superb job and I look forward to your next project if you have one!

Nice mash-up Oky! I like how you made Lando with other figure parts, but I really would have loved to see all the OT characters mixed up with all the HP ones. It's still great though! Oh, and thanks for my requested picture at the end.
  13. Great review Chris! I'll get this set if it's on sale, because it really doesn't beat the old version. The new figures are super though; so many new faces! But what the heck is up with the eyes on Hooch? Is she a demon or something?!
  14. You reminded me about something I wanted to say to do with the Commando RocketClone! I wonder if LEGO will make a new head mold? Perhaps without the fin or just an all new helmet? That would be very nice.
  15. Yeah, that's the only good bit IMO. I think his mouth is too high up on his face, or his glasses and eyes too low, that's all. I think it is, but it's made of a different material... I think it looks shrunk because the hair piece is so far back on his forehead. It looks fine with a Death Eater outfit:
  16. Thanks guys. I agree with most of what you are saying. Thinking back it was very good, but IMO the new set can be incorporated into the Hogwarts Castle itself much more easily. Sure, the old one had more features and details, but from what I can see it would be hard to fit into the Castle. Details wise though, yes, the 2002 trumps the 2010 edition by far. So change the sub-title to 'a remake of the 2002 version!', as I am swaying more to your side now!
  17. I wonder what's in the package? Name: Freeing Dobby Item No: 4736 Figures: 3 (Harry, Dobby, Lucius Malfoy) Parts: 73 Price: £9.99 Theme: Harry Potter Brickset Bricklink Box Nothing too amazing here. The box is the thinner card unlike the new SW sets, and shows the basic feature on the back. The top shows Harry in 'happy mode'. Parts A nice selection of parts which could be useful in other MOCs, if I deicde to take it apart. The 6x8 Base does not come in a bag. Pieces of Interest Featuring the pearl gold stud, a printed 1x2 tile, Tom Riddle's diary and Dobby's head in a litle baggie. Dobby comes in flesh intead of tan, with head printing this time! Figures Great figures that all except Harry are only available in this set. The fact they had double-sided heads really surprised me! I reckon Lucius' alternative face could be used for a generic Death Eater. The Build The instructions are normal for a set this size, and not complicated. A random stage... The little building is a nice addition, with a spider clinging to a wall and a place to attach a broom. See more here! Finished Model Now Dobby is gonna kick some Death Eater butt! Catapulting stages; Just push the red button to send Malfoy flying! Spares A gold stud and small flame have to come in use somewhere! Ratings Parts: 8/10 ~ Good selection of parts in various colours. Figures: 9/10 ~ Having these figures remade in flesh with better printing is great, and the fact two are unique to this set contributes to the high score! My only gripe is Harry's terrible new face print. Design: 7/10 ~ A little too basic for AFOLs but the contents make up for it. Price: 8/10 ~ A little more expensive than its predecessor, but it's worth it anyway! Playability: 7/10 ~ Not much to do here except catapult the figures and make them fly on the broomstick. Then again, that sounds like fun! Overall: 78% And a special thanks to SuperChris for being so kind as to let me review this set!
  18. That is a really good MOC ThatGuyWhoCampsWithTheBricks! I'd certainly but this instead of the official LEGO release. The patterns are very nice, and dark blue works surprisingly well instead of normal blue. Keep this up!
  19. Thanks Mr.Mando! Unfortunately though, I can't view it as it for the US store only. Actually...does that matter? If I switch stores from UK to US will it affect my iTunes account and iTouch?
  20. Ordered Freeing Dobby off Tesco Direct to arrive tomorrow morning!
  21. Any chance you could provide the link?
  22. I need two Zombies from someone inside the UK. I have Series 2 figures so just shoot me a PM!
  23. I think you're thinking about the Scout Trooper. Perhaps the ARF Trooper is a predecessor?
  24. More like rectangular imprints, but they are just as annoying either way.
