I really want the Tauntaun. It would help complete my minifig creatures. I have a dragon, a hyppogryph, and then a tauntaun would just be epic.

The orange guy isn't all that bad... Though I think I'd rather get Squidman for that head. Of course my favourite is four-arms(whatever his name is) simply because his head is epic. Also, the set he's in isn't half bad.

8964 looks like a REAL good set to get if for nothing else but the parts alone. Fortunately, it's awesome enough to warrant buying anyway, so... yeah. I am still in seed of those drill and wheel parts so I can make a convincing Bara Magna vehicle.

A Little late, but here you guys go: I think I'll do color later tonight if I have time. It's not entirely finished, as I still have to title it and add background( prolly in Photoshop), but I like it so far. And Antrozek, that Vastus is AMAZING.

On another not-What do you guys think of asking for another tub-o-parts? I was thinking it'd be cool to have a Bara Magna expansion kit with masks and parts from this year in all sorts of colors, as well as some exclusives and suck. It would also likely include enough parts to make a full set like the rahkshii tubs.

Huh... I never thought of that-I even have Krika to give like a major hint and I STILL never thought of it! Oh, wells... Anyone think I should try to draw Kiina as a badass somehow, or should I do one of the other Glat. Legends?

I liked the Metrutoran as well since they had cool armour and launchers of their own as well as really neat masks. Though if we see some improvement in impulse sets, I hope for something a tad bigger than the voyatoran and with better recolours.

I agree. I like having the new av-toran parts in other colors, but I would also appreciate the same thing for a more original design.

I dunno... Sets that aren't Bionicle usually land in stores quite a bit before they're s'posed to, so... who knows...

... Not heavily enough... I would have liked at least REAL pics of the aliens... But I'm sure they'll start popping up in stores sooner than we think...

I think I've quite liked his musicals-but mostly because he has Danny Elfman doing the score. Looks like Elfman will be involved in this project as well.

Gelu definitely has the prize for best weapon of '09-second place going to Stronius for a weapon that is both colored(kinda) and a bludgeon(more than a flat blade) and Malum for those badass claws. I think Vastus might tie in third with Strakk since the axe is a welcome change, but that partial-trans tubing and scythe are just wicked. Then finally Gresh's shield ties in fourth with the now overused Skrall swords(which are still kickass) Ackar and Mata Nui stand out on their own as great sets both color and part wise, so no judgment there. Vorox is just cool, but his weapons suck. Kiina... is a little disappointing, though her parts are VERY much a must-have.

I was kinda happy to see a Brickmaster exclusive that was more than like eight pieces(not including pins and axles). The Scarabax is an unusually big catch for Brickmaster...Even if it IS devoid of any new pieces and only one type of recolour...
