Both Quoted for Truth, Gresh would have been an automatic get with those claws. But since he doesn't, he's not. =/ And I don't see why so many people like Zesk, the only new parts he have are the recolored limbs (But those limbs were silly in the first place, IMO), and his mask, which does look cool, but doesn't make me want to buy him over his silly mask. Berix's mask looks cool, and has a Blue Tahu Sword. And Mata Blue hand pieces. Vorox has some great amount of recolors, but has definitely fallen to Skrall, who just looks so dang cool. Skrall looks cool except for the fact he has a shrunken head and no recolors. He has four new molds, excluding the Thornax, launcher and head: His hand, his mask, his cleaver and armor. That's it. ._. Metus looks a lot better, and I personally think think his shield could be much more useful in MOCing then Strakk's axe. But Skrall for the win. :3 All the new Gresh pics make me want to get him though, the blade pieces look great, and I have a lack of lime. ._. [-The Alchemyst-]

From all the reviews, I've made my list for Winter 09, high priority to low. Strakk has fallen off the charts. Sure he has the armor and Cleaver, but other than that... he doesn't look that cool. Skrall has risen to Vorox because of his sure number of new pieces and recolors, and I'm so digging that shield. Plus Mata Red. Tarix is unexpected, but with the Mata Blue and Gold, it rose. Berix simply because of the Light Blue Tahu sword. Raanu possibly for his Keetorange feet. Skrall/Vorox Tarix Berix Raanu And surprisingly that's it. $53 total, and since I'm probably only going to get the top two until clearance time... Around $40. Personally just waiting for 50% off Avtoran so I can snatch up the Orange Mata Feet and Solek. And why are the masks so long? o.O Even Gresh's. [-The Alchemyst-]

Seeing that everyone else is doing it, I might as well join them. Anyway, my entry for BBC 51, it's a small little MOC, purely Technic. My original entry was the cliched "Person being sucked into the darkness" sort of thing, and had too much system. =/ So then as a fun little MOC, I just made a model of Benzene, thanks to all the tri axles in Rockoh. Seeing those Triaxles in Hydraxxon last year made me really want to buy a bunch of them and connectors so I could make a molecular model of something. So I Realized it could be a snowflake, made it into a snowflake, took pictures of the said snowflake, etc etc. And this is it: Any comment (if you can) on this silly little MOC is appreciated. Which just makes the Sand Tribe more awesome. I mean seriously: Sand? Scorpions? Mutations? Tan? Recolors? An army of them? It's hard to beat that. Heck, it's hard to beat Sand as an element. It doesn't have to do with Quality, It's color consistency. =/ Which makes sense seeing that there are like 15 different shades of Purple. D: Go get some Dark Panthers (although you already have one). They're on clearance by now. Got mine for 50% off, at the Lego Store here in Chicago. :3 [-The Alchemyst-]

The new sockets are definitely a lot worse, =/ They've been breaking a lot for me, especially all the sockets in my Toa Ignika. But I've been starting to use a way to put in sockets, and I think it helps them from breaking. Instead of just inserting them by holding them from the sides and directly putting the socket on, try holding the ends of the socket (The clips), and put slight pressure on them. Then slide it into the socket. Instead of a loud click I get a sort of a dull snap, and sometimes it takes quite a fit of force to slide it in, but I think it works well in the end. To me, it worked well in my latest sets, with Pohatu from Rockoh, Takanuva and Onua all having perfectly perfect sockets. For now. >_> Hope that helps anyway. His style was definitely something, and it fit the dark looming 06-07 story very well. I don't hate him at all, adding a little flair is always nice. Pop Mhan's work looks almost like Leigh's overall style-wise to me. Only a few drawn details like masks and stuff look different. [-The Alchemyst-]

Fero and Skirmix, guessing Skirmix is the Dinosaur (V&F). Yay for Recolors. :3 Gresh's weapons have so much use. @_@ Fish fins, shields, wings, etc. Malum: Awesome weapons, more recolors and a more ferocious, Piraka like mask. Fits the name now. =D Skrall: Yay for MOC-pack. Mata Red is back, has those new swords, a Matoro Claw and that lovely shield. Leg armor looks new, mask looks neat. Strakk: New colors: Eeew. Uglier mask it looks like. =/ Tarix: Color scheme is wonky, but it has Mata Blue/Light blue it seems like, WIN. @_@ Vorox: Still awesome. Metus: Did they change the shield colors? Uglier than ever. Raanu: Nothing Special, hate the mask still. Even the Red Matoro Claw recolors were done before. >_> Atakus looks so much awesomer now, especially the mask. Berix's mask is cooler and rounder. I haven't gotten a System set in years, truth be told, my last one was that Millenium Falcon (Not Collector's Edition), I got as a Gift. I have been MOCing in system, recently, after my arrival here. Space has always piqued my interest for MOCs. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for him. And about the paint chips, too late. Nope, although I have heard of it an seen it around. Name is from a book, as with the Banner and Avatar. I'm not really a big Anime and Manga fan anymore. Currenly, only 2 Manga or so pique my interest. Ah, thanks... I dunno about the 3 good 3 bad thing for the Glatorians still. - Set Numbers. All of them are in a row for the canisters, not 3-Good-Winter, 3-Good-Summer, 3-Bad-Winter, 3-Bad-Summer, like it is for this year. Plus this also connects with: - Looks, from the looks there seems to be a few bad looking guys and a few good looking guys. They are all over the place though, and not group in numbers. So I'm guessing they have traits and leanings towards moral sides, but none of them are on exact teams of good and bad. They might have alliances later on, but in the beginning they are all strangers, some having good reasons for _____, other bad. [-The Alchemyst-]

So hi. I'm "The Alchemyst". I'm 14 and a sophmore, but I'm not going to act all silly on EB. My main interest is Bionicle and Technic, and the discussions of spoilers drew me here, because I wanted to add my two cents. I've been trying to break out some of my old system sets for a bit of fusion here and there. I live in Chicago, a large enough city. I'm Korean though, born in Seoul. Other interests include webcomics; there are too many to name, and reading good novels in general. I MOC, but nothing too spectacular; that's one of the reasons I'm starting to dabble in fusion. I've been a Lego fan for, a decade or so. I've played with Duplo back then, and some of the earliest Lego Sets that I have: King Kahuka...But it was made the year I was born, o.O Set 4145, I'm surprised there's no pic of it on Brickset... should I scan the instructions and take a pic of the box or something?
