25. I Scream Clone - Needs more salt! 16. SirNadroj - Quartering The Quartermasters 19. RoVer - Pirate Invasion - Caribbean Port I think there is an issue in general with this division, which is that one picture is not enough to show the projects, I think without a doubt, there are excellent entries, but there are several that only whe you see all the images at their respective entries, you can really understand it my first is, I Scream Clone, because I saw it in the other pictures of his post and I think is full of details. and built in a very smart way. I think the same thing to SirNadroj, is easy to note that is a great builder, it really creates an atmosphere. and vote for ME ... Well, one has to believe in what one does. or not? to mention also excellent! 4. Rook - Rated R, 14. Erdbeereis1 - Murder In The Market! and well.. everyone..

7. Fat Tony - Pirate's End 17. pe668 - Colonic Cannonball 22. LegoJoe Pirate's End, by Fat Tony. I think it's the best, combines a number of interesting elements, also believe that by the very logic of the size of this category, the end result is more an issue sculptor and therefore more than in any category the final result should be crystal clear in one image and recognizable as a single object

6267 Lagoon Lock-Up an excellent architectural design, with a great combination of features and locations on a volume that works both as a solo along with other sets, no doubt a lot of bricks, and a staff of minifigs extraordinary for itself, with a firing canon and a small sailing boat. one of the best lego sets EVER!!

hi, i just edit the post, whit the final version, so if someone of the staf can add a (final) to the post name thanks!!!

hi! you need to reduce the size of your pics.. 800x600 max!! also, you could put a image of the total MOC for you first image. it look like a group of pirates, whipping a pour red coat.. in the deck of a ship?? maybe you could make a improvent whit some more details in the deck, i think that it would be more realistic also if the soldier are more Captive , whit some strings... well good luck!! nice MOC!

just like Guss said: make the floor around the house looks less "flat"!! that will be awesome.. love the barricade.. in the front door i think that a house so massive.. will have some other structures like a stable, worker´s house.. i don´t know.. some minor building could give the mansion a more distintive play by contrast fantastic job!!

Hi, everyone THANKS for the coments.. first: i´m not sure if i can doble post... so.. sorry second: about the Improvements... 1) my grammar.. i´m from a non-english-speaking country, even more.. a non-english-speaking-sub-continent... .. and well.. i can speak in a decent way... even read.. but the writing part.. is another thing.. jeje sorry, but can someone of you help me whit that part?? specially whit the story behind the scene 2) tiling part... well.. i have some tiles.. but, i thing that is more a old-school thing, anyway, after all, studs are a lego essential part and (excuse me if a do some teoric defence of the studs) an nothing to be a shame, so why hiding it?? but just to be fare, i did some tiling, i will tile it.. in some other parts.. red roof for instance. 3) blood... well.. maybe the torture room will have another "member" jejeje 4)the 1x6 instead of 1x8.. is a architectural thing.. some houses need a "structural beam" to use it for elevation purpouses.. i thing, i will fixit making it more detail 5) the faces are too standard... YES i really wish, that this could be different.. in part is because I bought the mayority of my minifig, pre dark-ages. so i have a big need for expresion faces that are i think more a 2000´s thing.. and well to be honest.. here in Chile were I live.. the Price of a LEGO set.. is F"#%$&$# absurd !! usually doubling the euro-prices.. WELL sorry for my english and.. SO MANY THANKS for the nice FEEDBACK.. GREATINGS FROM THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE PLANET

Vig. 32a My Entry for the contest: the idea was use a frame of 16 x 16 to concentrate whole bunch of situations in a tipical caribean port.. and make a fun time in see the details in every corner... well whit a little of torture, pillage... betrayal and well.. there are also a tavern so.. drinking time.. ARGGG!! arggg !! STORY: A group of pirates attacked a small port in the Caribbean in search of gold and jewels, but the captain wants above all the sacred rubi, in the hands of the admiral, but this is hidden in the attic of his mansion, meanwhile, the first Pirate official, tries to steal a treasure map, however is not the only, Spanish and French officers have arrived earlier. the rest of the pirates .. find the hold of the treasure, without knowing it in the catacombs of the Caribbean island this the torture chamber where the pirates are tortured by imperial troops. more pics in my Brickshelf Gallery

belive me. make angles whit mlcad or even ldd.. is almost imposible.. well.. you can.. but in a old school construction style.. y recomend real bricks.. in case of don´t.. well.. you will have to learn geometry =)
-
details.. more minifig.. a couple of ships.. an maybe another section of houses or a more frontal port section i think it is around of 3000 bricks.. if anyone want the Ldraw file.. please tell me
-
well.. yes... but work in mLCAD... is complex... for one side.. you got infinite parts... but can´t make the rotations easy, the thing that more make me crazy is show the details.. rendering.. is not so easy is all "god like views".. if only it would be like take a picture. but i will try finish at least this.. then.. i think i will make small models.. y also working in a ship.. whit real bricks.. and that is more FUN
-
if only I could get enough bricks.. to make this a real diorama.. but.. right here in the end of the world.. is really dificult to get a good price for a set.. usually cost twice or even more..
-
if there are something that look just odd to me... is the color palette.. sure.. now exist like trisillionsss colors. but then in the originals days i think maybe 7 or 9 colors, which make all the set, more rich in the construcctions.. i remember the original mix of that basic colors.. now.. the color fix the form.. ANYWAY.. y will buy everithing twice.. :)
